Expecting litter to be born on or about 8/20/2020

We expect that these babies will have large bones, clear heads, strong and stable nerves, excellent temperaments, excellent food and ball drives, beautiful pigment, and could all possibly be long coats with undercoat. We are expecting all of them to be black and red like the Dam. These pups will come with AKC registration, Full registration is available to approved breeders.

Tessa, has one of the most happy and pleasant temperaments I have seen on a female. She knows no stranger, and is also very dog neutral. Her father is Gary Vom Hühnegrab (2017 BSZS World Champion). Tessa is a WGSL import from Germany. She came to me at 12 weeks old, and has been training in Schutzhund ever since. Tessa has zero fear or environmental issues, she exhibits a clear head, extremely stable nerves, a beautiful willingness to work, and very nice full grips, her food and ball drive are excellent, and her willingness and ability to work under pressure make her exceptional.

Beast is a Workingline with import bloodlines, he is a national level competitor in Schutzhund, who has an excellent pedigree. His Father is world renowned Drago Vom Patriot. Beast is aptly named as he is a substantial male, who is extremely strong with large bones and amazing work ethic! Beast is an extremely neutral dog around people and is also dog neutral. Beast has zero nerve issues and thrives in any environment you put him in. He has proven his abilities time and time again on the training and competition fields! Beast has one of the best off switches I have seen on a workingline, he is intense with excellent aggression and is intimidating when he is working and he is calm and laid back when he is not. His food and ball drive are exceptional, his grips are crushing, full and calm.

Our Kennel name (Vom Haus Himmelsoldat) is German; it translates to “from the sky soldier house” this name is of great meaning to us here at Vom Haus Himmelsoldat. My father was a soldier and served in the 173rd Airborne, also known as sky soldiers. We dedicate our kennel to his memory, to honor him, as well as those who continue to sacrifice and pay the ultimate price for our freedom! Our logo bears the crest of the 173rd Airborne.

Read on to learn a little about us, and our breeding standards:

We are a small kennel based in Central North Carolina. We are extremely passionate, and committed to producing top of the line Workingline, and Showline German Shepherds. Because the health of our dogs, and the quality of our puppies, is paramount to us, we will never breed dogs who have not been health tested. Our Breeding dogs have been trained by us, and have proven themselves to have stable nerves, strong work ethic, biddability, and high food and ball drives, all of which are some of the most important components to building a solid dog with the capability and willingness to work, after all, that is what this breed was created to do, to work!
​We not only breed German Shepherds but we train them as well. We are actively involved in Schutzhund (German for "protection dog") which is a German dog sport, and was developed in the early 1900’s in Germany as a breed suitability test for German Shepherds. Schutzhund requires the dog to prove themselves in three different areas...tracking, obedience, and protection work, this sport requires years of dedicated training to be able to compete and receive a title in the sport. By being active in this sport and training to compete, It awards us the opportunity to know all the important nuances of our breeding stock(as many unknown traits are often uncovered during the extensive training) . We are able to identify their strengths as well as where they could be stronger. It is with that knowledge, that we are able to identify good pairings for breeding, as we will make sure to breed with a dog who is strong in all of the most important areas but also very strong in areas where our dog may not be as strong. The fact is, no dog is perfect, and we strive to only breed to excellent dogs who compliment what our dogs already have, and impart a trait that we would like to strengthen. We will never breed to dogs who have not had the proper health testing and to whom we have not witnessed their working ability as well as their temperaments first hand.
