Adoption Announcement!📣

Big Congratulations to Robin And Preston!🎉🎉

Robin took one look at Preston and knew they were destined to be together.

Preston was left abandoned in a crate for days.😞 But he has moved on and is ready to trust and love once again! ❤️

Oh, and Robin says he will never see the inside of a crate again! 🐶🐾

Happy Life Preston! It gets much better from here! 💕

Congratulations Boo! 👻

Boo was adopted today by Sally and Dick who never hesitated to take Boo into their home with all of her medical issues!🚗 Boo had been hit by a car and had had fractured her pelvis and ribs…She survived! She is now healing beautifully under their care!

Boo fit perfectly into their family!🎉🎉

Welcome to AMI Pup Rescue Maple🍁

Look at this teeny tiny girl 💕

We found this teeny tiny 3.2 pound 4 year old Yorkie mix in the shelter full of smiles and a wagging tail 🐶 We knew instantly when we saw her we had to get her out of there ASAP!

Miss Maple is the sweetest girl full of love despite how neglected she was😭 She is severely under weight, was horribly matted & smelled terrible 😢 Obviously her past was not good, but she doesn’t let it show 🙌🏼

Maple is super smart and picks up routines very fast. She loves going for walks, fully house trained, gets along with other dogs big & small, not afraid of the Florida thunderstorms and is a total velcro dog!

Miss Maple 🍁 has not found her voice as she does not bark, but will whine for your attention. She is not a fan of a crate so she sleeps with her foster parents in bed🤭 She is also being fed 4 times a day to bulk her up 💪🏼

Maple would do best with someone without little children as she is so tiny & fragile! She is always underfoot, so her foster mommy will wear her in a sling bag while doing her daily chores around the house☺️ She is scheduled to be spayed & have a dental on September 9th, but is available for adoption with an addendum!

Welcome our two new rescues, both found in the shelter today. 🛟

On the left is Mitzi a 3 year old Yorkshire Terrier, who is AMAZING and housetrained!🙌🏻

And beautiful Spunky, a 10 year old female Chihuahua also housetrained. Spunky is a friendly, chubby girl and so sweet! We feel lucky to have her! ❤️

How SAD!😢

Somebody left Preston in a crate for days on end! He is terribly matted and his fur is stained with urine. He is a hot mess right now but we will have him back to his beautiful sweet self in no time!

Preston is a 10lb male Maltese. He is 3 years old.

Chanel found a wonderful home with our Duncan, also an AMI Pup, and two beautiful children, and of course, Mom and Dad💗

Meet Petunia!

Petunia is a beautiful and very friendly Chihuahua. She is 5 years old and weighs 7lbs. We found Petunia in the shelter. She has an amazing personality packed in her very tiny body! Shes loves people and will follow you everywhere! She also likes playing with other small dogs!

Once settled, Petunia likes to cuddle under a blanket preferably on your lap. She is well socialized and not fearful. Petunia is an absolute gem! Older children would be best because of her tiny size. She would do well in an apartment, condo or a house with a yard!

Petunia is fully vaccinated and microchipped. She has an appointment with our local vet to be spayed in West Bradenton. She is being fostered in Palmetto and is available for a meet and greet with an approved application.

Welcome to AMI Finn!

We pulled this sweet boy from the shelter today!🐾

Adorable Finn is looking for a forever home🏠

Finn is barely a year old and was found in our local shelter. He weighs 15 pounds & is house trained🙌🏼Finn is all puppy and loves a good Zoomie! Finn is smart, funny and curious. He loves the outdoors and rolling on the grass! A young family would be perfect for him.
A family that is home more often than not would be ideal for Finn so he can continue his training.

Finn will be fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered this week. He is being fostered on Anna Maria Island.🌴

Welcome Chanel to AMI Pup Rescue!❤️

Chanel is a 6 month old 9lb puppy we found in the shelter! She was so badly matted she couldn’t poop.😞 It was clear Chanel was off to a rough start. But all that is in her past! 💨 We have her now, and she is scheduled for a spay, baby dental and a groom!

This is Sally who never hesitated to foster and care for Boo while she recovers. They are a match made in heaven 💕

Welcome Boo to AMI Pup Rescue!❤️

Boo is a 2 year old female Chihuahua. She weighs just 7lbs.🐶

We found her in the shelter where she may have been hit by a car. She is safe with us now and at our vet getting X-rays. 🩻

We will do everything we can for little Boo! She is the sweetest, most wonderful little girl! We are so excited to bring her into our rescue.

✨ Remember Tw***ie? He has lost a significant amount of weight and is ready for his forever home!!

Tw***ie is a sweet Chihuahua mix who needs a loving and patient home. He is 8 years old.

Tw***ie arrived at the shelter overweight and with bladder stones, but since then, he's had surgery to remove the stones and has already lost 5 pounds. He’s on track to lose another 5 pounds to reach his perfect weight of 15 pounds.

Tw***ie is initially shy but quickly warms up to people. He loves walks and enjoys the company of other dogs once he gets to know them slowly. He would thrive in a calm, quiet environment, making him an ideal companion for a retired person who understands the needs of rescue dogs and can provide a steady routine.

Tw***ie would do best in a home without children or excessive chaos, where he can feel safe and loved. As a senior dog, he deserves someone who can give him the attention and care he needs.
