We are a badass husband (TK) + wife (Danielle) team who have a huge passion for woodwork and design. We are so excited to introduce our brand to you and tell you a little bit about ourselves. We LOVE all things wood, whether we are creating stunning mosaic pieces, nursery name signs,
walnut charcuterie boards, or anything home related. Our work is inspired by earthy tones and natural wood grains. All of our pieces are one of a kind and made to order. We will slowly be adding work to our Etsy shop, if you have a custom idea just contact us and let’s get to work! During our spare time you can find us visiting our local lumber yard hand selecting and drooling over walnut slabs for our charcuterie boards, riding bikes and playing Monopoly with our daughter, or hanging on the couch eating pizza while our Pomeranian waits for a crumb to fall. Why did we start The Rusted Mill? TK, is a professional, longtime commercial millwork installer who specializes in restaurant woodwork to custom cabinetry. His work blows me away every time I see it, which has inspired me to dip my hands into some sawdust and get dirty. As for myself, I am a designer and artistic creator at heart; I traded in my government 9-5 to do something that sets my soul on fire. All things design come natural for me, especially when I am building new pieces in our workshop. Creating artistic designs truly makes my heart happy.
