Little Allen had a pretty good eval at the vet today.

Bloodwork came back great other than low potassium which is likely from not eating and holding it down with proper feeding it should fix itself in time.

X-rays are being sent to a specialist for review but our vet feels she does indeed have mega E. He is now on daily meds and a high protein food so we can get this kid on the right track

Recheck in two weeks

Everyone meet “Allen” his name will likely be changing. This little 6 mth old boy came to us after his previous owner was unable to give him what he needed due to traveling.

Allen is a little Frenchie whose previous vet diagnosed him with mega e. So far even being up right for 30 mins he will still regurgitate is our fosters finding. He is going Tuesday to be evaluated by our vet and will likely need to go to auburn for further testing to see if he has PRAA which will require surgery if that is the case

By sponsorships we are able to continue our mission in saving orphan pups. Most the time we send these guys to partners and don’t ask a dime for reimbursement but food/shots etc isn’t free

Yesterday we sent 6 bottle baby graduates, and two former mama dogs to two different partner rescues in Florida

Mama Ivy came from a case that resulted in 29 min pins being taken in my AC she had three pups on 10/31 one with a cleft sadly due to her neglect even with efforts of tube feeding all three of her babies crossed the bridge one by one before they even reached a week of age

Kaiya’s babies went to Florida a few months ago and she stayed behind so she could be spayed and finish her 30 days of doxy to start her heartworm tx

Happy Halloween!!

Mama Ivy the min pin who came from animal control just a few short days ago gave birth to 3 little nuggets this morning at first she was not having anything to do with them but now settling into the mama role, however, now we have noticed she does not have any milk.
We have started her on supplements and will monitor and bottle feed as needed

Oh and as we always do with babies we inspect their palates and well this unfortunately isn’t a trick one of the little boys has a cleft 😭

We have decided as a fundraiser to allow our supporters to name the babies since it is Halloween we are going to be calling them the Halloween kids so names must be Halloween related
