So yesterday LeeLo got his new toy. I’m happy to say that there is only 1 hole in the plush but that’s it!!!! YAY!!! Those are absolutely staying on my monthly auto ship!!!

Today LeeLo was having a rough day. He’s been having more of those since we lost Nani Beth. Poor boy just won’t settle. He is back on his CBD Mega (we tried managing with just h**p chews last month and it didn’t go so well) but that will take a bit of time to notice a difference.

On December 2nd, Blue Ridge Beef issued a voluntary recall of its 2lb Puppy Mix logs due to Salmonella contamination.

The affected product has lot numbers 08/06/N25 and 08/16/N25, which can be found stamped on the clips at the ends of the chubs/bags.

Just a little warning regarding the Christmas treat many stores are now starting to stock for dogs at Christmas. 😉 🐶🐈🐩🐕‍🦺🐕🦮

Many of these so called treats end up with the dog "enjoying" some time in a veterinary surgery over Christmas. The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China.

The chews are made from cattle or horse hides and their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulfide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell.

Now comes the pretty festive colors and the glue to form cute shapes. On testing, these chews have shown traces of arsenic, mercury, chromium and formaldehyde.

If that wasn't bad enough, they regularly cause intestinal blockages, poisoning from chemical residue and choking.
The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.

Leave them in the shop where they belong or if some well meaning person buys them for your dog put them safely away for later, and dispose in the trash! Please be safe with your dogs! ❤️❤️❤️

Happy Halloween!

I can’t believe that the holidays are almost upon us! Just wanted to go over a few things before then!

There are a few days I will not be available or have limited availability!

November 9th I have an event from 10 am-3:30pm. Come see me at the Holiday Vendor Event at the Rivalry Alehouse in Antioch! I will be sharing information on pawTree and have a few crafty items to sell.
November 10th – not available all day
December 14th I will be unavailable from Noon-6pm
December 21st is my family Christmas so will be unavailable after noon.

If you have any days over the holiday’s you may need service, please let me know the tentative dates so I can make notes on my schedule.

There will be no regular service on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day, and New Years Eve & Day. If you need services on these days, please let me know and I can put you in the schedule!

When Jamie Perico reached out to me about the pawTree company I was skeptical. I mean who wouldn’t be?!?!? (Sorry Jamie!!!!) But I did my research on their food.
