This is what my calendar looks like every week. Every day is scheduled but Tuesdays… Tuesdays there’s no alarm, no plans, no phone, no business, no worrying about bills, no working out, no errands, no catching up on Netflix shows… NOTHING.

It’s filled with reading, prayer, friends, my cats, music, taking walks, riding bikes, good food, naps, and whatever else I want.

Taking a SABBATH has changed my entire life and I bet it would change yours too. Wednesday morning is an amazing reminder that even when I stopped, the world didn’t fall apart. It kept going. So maybe my stressing and rushing around isn’t really doing that much after all.
