Anytime Puppy Playground

We are an Indoor Dog Park in Minnesota!! Not everyone can afford boarding and daycare. Most restaurant patios allow dogs but must be on-leash. Their paw-rents?

Not everyone wants to go to an outdoor doggie park because maybe they’ve had a bad experience. Some breweries and wineries allow Fido, but again must be on a leash. So then, what if there was a large climate-controlled indoor park facility on the south side of the river? Could it be open when I wanted to go? Maybe I could squeeze a quick playtime before I go to work? Would the off-leash facility b

e open at midnight when my work ends?

As Minnesotans, we can attest to the harsh winters, the seemingly endless days of spring rain, or the sometimes off the chart summer humidity and yet, our doggos still need a walk, run, or stroll. When it’s raining like cats are pelting from the sky, we adorn our best rainproof wear and trudge out into the elements. When it’s triple digits and feels like your face will melt off, Bella still needs that walk, so you grab your flashlight and check your watch. Yes, it does indeed say: 2 a.m. Finally, when twenty inches of snow falls, Elsie must get exercise. So, bundling like the artic yeti, we go for our walk; I mean, penguin waddle. Does this all sound familiar to you? We understand because we have two huskies who love snow and the cold. Not so much! Anytime Puppy Playground is the answer to all your needs! We are open 24/7/365 and are climate-controlled. Our facility will offer a small dog and large dog area, both with agility elements. We are also constructing a Private Room for those anti-social dogs or for those who want to book a birthday paw-ty!

🚨🚨 NEW PROGRAM COMING 🚨🚨

Starting in October, we will be starting "Puppy Play in The Sandbox". This 90-minute playtime will only be for puppies who do not have all of the vax b/c they are too young! We will accept all breeds who are between 8-weeks and 4-months!
For Members, if you add a new puppy to your pack, you can join the puppy pile by logging into the Pet Portal: "Book" > "Puppy Play" > "Open Enroll" > "Select the Date"

Non-Members will use the solid white door on the right, while Members will still use the gate. Only a small portion of the facility will be sectioned off for the puppies!

Labor Day Daycare is now available to book for Sept 3-6!

A typical day isn't just dogs running around! Nope, not at The Playground! Naps or breaks are important, too. We use enrichment items, do basic training (reaffirm), and brushing, along with physical exercise.

To Book Daycare: BOOK > START BOOKING > DAY PASS & EVENTS > FULL DAY or HALF DAY > Select the date and time for drop off.

I can attest to this. We did see Elsie and Bella regress a bit when we started building The Playground and then would come home and leave us presents. But no anger since they didn't know: inside was inside for them.

Now that the State Fair is in full swing, for us it's time to think ahead.

We chose rolled rubber flooring b/c it's better on the dogs' paws and joints. But it's also a bit more maintenance to keep it in top form. We will be stripping and resealing the entire floor in late September. To do this, we will need to close for 2-days.

When it's higher than 80°F outside, DO NOT heavily exercise your dogs outside!☀🐕

🚫🏃‍♂️🐶 No playing fetch or making your dog run alongside you while you run, bike, skateboard, or rollerblade, etc.
🚫🔥🐾 No letting dogs run on hot surfaces like asphalt or sand

✅🌅 A walk in the cooler hours of the day is fine or a slow meander when it’s hot
✅💧Always provide your dog fresh water and shade while outside on warmer days
✅🧐If your pet is at increased risk of overheating, monitor them closely while outside

Bark N' Play Week Camp isn't just for huskies! This past week, I had the honor watching and playing with this little golden. Had to teach her that the stairs and ramps were not so scary.

Water is water to them, just in a different container. We don't have to worry about Elsie or Bella jumping into the lake, river, fountain. Now an ice pool is a different story.

Pool Party was a smashing success! What's not to love about pools, balls, hotdogs, and ice cream? This was the calm before all the dogs showed up.

Planning to come to Pool Party this Saturday? Be sure to bring towels along!! We will have towels in 2 different sizes available to purchase that day if you forget to bring some.
