Say hello to my new family member, Ivy. She is a 9 week old beagle that I rescued from Beagle Freedom Project. A testing facility was shut down, in Oklahoma, and Ivy has made the brave trek all the way to Wisconsin so I could adopt her.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
Clippity Do Da is aware of the Respiratory Illness that has been affecting some dogs and appears to be highly contagious. As a 1-to-1 grooming salon I am confident that my salon will stay a safe place and have added a few additional precautions to prevent the spread of this. After speaking with several Veterinarians in WI they reaffirmed that I am following the best possible cleaning protocol to curb the spread of this.

However, I am asking my clients to help with these things:
** Please do not enter the salon more than 5 minutes before your appointment. If you see that the doors are locked, please wait in your car for me to call you in.

**Signage that prohibits pet parents from entering the grooming area MUST be adhered to!

**If your dog is experiencing nasal and/or eye discharge, coughing, loss of appetite, lethargy or sneezing, you will need to cancel your appointment ASAP and contact your Veterinarian.

**Please help to keep your dog (and all others) safe by keeping them apart, meaning, if you see a dog entering or leaving please do NOT have your dogs “socialize” as Vets have advised to also avoid dog parks, boarding/daycare, etc. where dogs are within contact of other dogs.

**If your pet defecates on the premises, it is your responsibility to clean this up & dispose of it in the outside dumpster. We are more than happy to provide waste bags.

**Your pet’s grooming session is not ever guaranteed to be completed by a definitive time so please do not have those expectations. With additional precautions being taken it may take a little more time so please be patient.

**Please arrive for pick up when asked or wait for my call. Early arrivals before this will immediately end the grooming session because it becomes dangerous to work on an excited pet when they see you arrive. As always, I will ask when to expect you and request that you arrive within 30 minutes of grooming completion so I can disinfect. If you see a dog being groomed, please have a seat and wait quietly. No need to announce your arrival…CDD has cameras/mirrors/motion doorbells and are aware of your presence.

**If you have any questions about this illness, please contact your Vet. If you have any questions or concerns regarding my cleaning protocol or how I am doing everything I can to continue to keep your pet safe please call Clippity Do Da. I have been told by Vets that there is no need to panic and if you follow simple dog-to-dog avoidance, your pet family member should be fine.
