It is with great sadness I report one of the puppies died yesterday. She was on an antibiotic but I couldn’t save her.
The runt of the litter needs constant help with feeding as he gets pushed out by the others.
The other 4 are doing well.

Puppies born at 4:30 today. Ruby had a c section but is doing well. We are home now and she is getting used to them.

Ruby is getting quite the puppy belly. She is pretty slow and low energy so lots of snuggling going on.
3 weeks to go for the puppies to arrive. Getting excited

Per the ultrasound she has a litter of 6.

I had to take Ruby to the ER today as she had not eaten, lethargic, panting. They confirmed she is pregnant which is good news. She has morning sickness so they gave her fluids and anti nausea medication.
I will find out how many puppies on February 28th when she has an ultrasound. Er vet said 3-4.

Getting Ruby pregnant has proved to be quite the ordeal. The first sample came and we were ready to do the procedure but all the s***m were dead, turned out that the dog I had chosen had a UTI so we could not use him.
I frantically found a second dog to use and had a shipment sent overnight via FedEx Thursday to arrive Saturday it’s still has not arrived. Ruby is very ready to get pregnant but no sample to use. I had her progesterone checked today and today is the day so I called my trusted friend who has a male Cavalier and he is on his way over let’s hope they tie because the sample that’s on His Way, Monday will probably be too late to use. So far I’ve spent close to $2000 and got nothing. This is a very frustrating business don’t think it’s easy folks it’s not
