LJEC Had a fantastic NTHJC-North Texas Hunter Jumper Club season opener in Tyler at Texas Rose Horse Park this past weekend! Each rider and ponies had some personal bests and had a BLAST!!!

🎖️Mia Heal and “Precious Moments” shared by the Vardemans, took home reserve champion in the combined Short and rusty stirrup equitation and had top ribbons in the hunters. Kickapoo Ponies Texas

🎖️Hazel Mahan and “Buttons and Bows” got top placings in their poles division and stepped into the cross rail division for the first time and staying in the ribbons.

🎖️Addie and “Zeik it” also competed in Poles and cross rails to take a 3rd, two 4ths and a 6th out of a competitive division.

🎖️Zoe Mahan and her new mount “GF What A Gem” Took home Champion in walk/trot x-rails, and her first time out in canter cross rails she got champion out of a huge group of horses and ponies. To top it off Zoe and Gem won “Best turned out pony” for day 1 of the show!

🎖️Ella Mitchell and “Precious moments” Shared by the Vardeman family competed in her first ever horse show to take home a blue ribbon in leadline.

🎖️”Big reputation” owned by Megan Meinfisch and ridden by Scarlett Joski stepped into the ring for his first time in the pre-greens to take home two 6th places out of a competitive group of young horses

🎖️”Sugar n Spice and everything Nice” owned by the Mahan family, ridden by Scarlett Joski took home two 3rd places a 4th and 6th in the open 2’ hunter’s. This pony is available for lease/sale to an approved home!

We are delighted to introduce LJEC's new Mommy&Me package. This package is specifically designed for preschool-aged children, providing a unique opportunity for parent-child bonding through equine activities.

The 30-minute private session comprises 15 minutes of brushing and grooming, followed by a 15-minute lead-line pony ride. Parents are welcome to accompany their child during the ride.

This package is ideal for assessing a child's comfort level and interest in horses. We are offering this exceptional experience at $250 per month for a total of four sessions.
