About Shih Tzus

The Shih-Tzu is one of the oldest dog breeds, originating in Tibet thousands of years ago. Known as the “lion dog”, these small lap dogs were prized by royalty as household pets. Shih-Tzus are affectionate companion and family animals, known to live long, healthy lives. They prefer to be indoors and, while often docile and quiet, are also playful and spunky. Among his qualities stands out his intelligence, his kindness and tenderness, his independence and security, as well as his great cunning. As against, it is somewhat disobedient and not very docile.

Although he is very affectionate and grateful, it is possible that we detect in him certain airs of independence, as if he maintains a somewhat distant relationship with his owners, but it is only appearance .. in reality he is very sociable and friendly.

With the smallest of the house (children) it is a appearances it should not be neglected, since its large coat is too succulent an attraction for children and could make it angry.

As we always recommend, young children with dogs should never be left alone, just for safety.

It is an excellent dog to have both in a flat and in a large garden, it likes to go for a walk and play with other dogs, sport is not its strong suit but it will never hurt to run a little with its owner.

I am delighted to also announce our beautiful shih tzu has given birth to 6 healthy, stocky puppies. Full of life and each with their own personality.

Both dam and sire are 5 generation pedigree shih tzu .
With soft, gentle, intelligent natures .

These puppies are brought up in a family home, they shall be used to all household noises. Our goal is to ensure that each puppy is healthy, well socialised and ready to take on there new chapter in their forever home.
