Meet Jaca a estimated two year-old pit mix that was found as a straight in the 28147 area. Sadly no owner has come looking for her and she is now looking for her forever home. She is only 44 pounds and also heartworm negative.

As a horse rescue, our daily struggle is to ensure that all seventeen horses in our care receive the necessary funds to cover their living and medical needs. Three of our rescued horses are suitable for riding, while the remaining fourteen are pasture ornaments due to various health issues, including birth defects, injuries, arthritis, and advanced age, with some horses being thirty-six or thirty-seven years old. Each horse deserves a happy life with full bellies and their needs met, having previously served humans and been discarded, either through auction or abandonment in fields, or relinquished by owners who could no longer provide care.

This marks the second day the horses have been using the round bale in conjunction with a hay net. Currently, we only have one hay net. If looking to support the horses at Hooves of Promise, we are in need of more hay nets.

Hello everyone, I would like to provide an update regarding my recovery progress. I have confirmed a reconstructive surgery date, with the first procedure scheduled to take place on January 9th. If you haven't already and start planning on donating today, all donations, Facebook doubles.. Your support is a precious gift to the horses at Hooves of Promise. My recovery period, which will involve two consecutive surgeries and twelve weeks of recuperation. So it's going to be a long haul! Please donate any amount.All donations are greatly appreciated!
