Hi Pet Parents, At the end of the day PDDC will take a much needed break and will re-open on January 2, 2019.

We want to wish all of our human and furry friends a blessed Holiday.

A couple of quotes before we close out the day:

Yesterday walking back to PDDC, a neighbor that lives next door stopped me. I introduced myself and she said she would not forget my name Virginia because she was mourning the loss of her 30 year old son who lived in Virginia, he passed away. he went to sleep and never awoke. Her name is Nancy and I replied I would not forget her name because my beloved mothers name was Nancy who passed three years ago. She shared her sons instagram pictures with me as she cried...I cried with her and hugged her hoping I could give her one moment of comfort.
Nancy stopped me not only to say Hello but to tell me how she watches from afar all of the dogs that come in and out of PDDC and the dogs she sees out on the lawn with Jim and I. Her spirits are lifted by seeing all of the dogs - it makes her happy. She said she admired us for our hard work, dedication and long hours. She sees the lights on very early and very late and on weekends. What wonderful compliments from a stranger.

Nancy reminded me of how the word dog is God spelled backwards. I remembered the first time I heard that from a Chaplin who visited our home while my mother was passing.

As we approach this years Holiday Season, I give thanks to God for my wonderful husband, my awesome cousin Donna who inspires me everyday with her kindness, we want our customers to know we are grateful for your continued support. We know that our continued success depends on you and your pets.
