Tonight we said goodbye to the most incredible boy. 3Ls Other Brother Daryl was our first homegrown Grand Champion and a true gentleman. A true breed ambassador he made friends everywhere he went. He is the sire to many BOB, BOSB, RIS, and BOS winners. I am utterly heartbroken to lose this sweet boy of mine. I'm thankful to have had the years with him I did.
We have a few of his kids in our barn and they will continue his legacy.

After a very long wait and a few unsuccessful breedings, yestarday Barbie and Other Brother Daryl welcomed a littler of fawn and sandy kits. If you know us, you know Daryl is one special guy. We can't wait to watch these littles grow. We will not be taking any reservations for this special litter. If we decide to part with any we will share at that time.

Our rabbitry is growing! 2 litters of steels 5 for Hattie and Earl, and 13!!!! For Ouizer and Frank. And two litters of Florida Whites totalling 8! We are still waiting on a litter of Lilacs, another litter of Florida Whites, and a litter of Fawn/Sandy Flemish.

We want to wish you all a joyful new year making memories with those you hold dear. We are currently expecting the first litters of 2023 and are so excited to get back to showing with our wonderful rabbit friends. We have been blessed with the friends we have met along the way.

We went to our first show in a while yesterday. It was so wonderful to have bunnies back on the tables and share a day with wonderful friends. We brought home a few wins too! 3L's Ken won BOV in show A and BOB is show B. 3L's Svetlana's girl (a lovely steel junior we produced) won BOSB is show B. We had great comments on all of our Flemish, Lilacs, and Florida Whites. We also brought home BOB is show B with Tiny's little Doe 3L's Marshmallow.

We are planning to hit the New Years Eve show and looking forward to having two beautiful Fawn Juniors on the table for the first time.

We also brought home a gorgeous Sandy Buck out of 3L's Mitchell who has been so lovingly raised by a youth breeder in our area, and a super cute little English Spot from Sunset Rabbitry one of our breeding partners.

Barbie and Ken's kits are growing out beautifully. We are anxiously awaiting Jessica and Ouizer to deliver their next litters. Unfortunately our wonky weather and wildfire smoke last month lead to some serious losses in the baby department. We do not have anyone looking to move on at this time but appreciate all of the recent inquiries. We will have kits in a few months but right now we are focusing on the litters we are expecting and hoping for some amazing buns for next years show tables. Keep your eyes out for options to add to your programs in a few months. We love you all and appreciate your love and support.

3L's Ouizer Boudreaux delivered 9 steel kits today. She was bred to Frank Drebbin, a lovely buck we brought up from Amy in Texas. Looking forward to watching these littles grow out. Their mama is gorgeous and dads a pretty handsome guy too.

Tonight has been hard. I have hesitated to post in hopes of sharing good news. Unfortunately, we have not been very lucky and I have sad news to share. A few week ago we lost 3L's Marley, this sweet doe was one of a kind and the foundation of our fawn program. She and 3L's Other Brother Daryl produced our top winning rabbits 3l's Ken and 3L's Jessica. We rebred this amazing pair in hopes of furthering our fawn/ sandy program and sharing the incredible offspring these two produce. Marley injured herself shortly after delivering her kits and despite our best efforts was unable to overcome her injury. While nursing she lost 5 kits and we took over for her bottle raising the other 5. After a week we lost 2 and tonight we lost 2 more. We have never encountered this level of loss with bottle kits and are dumbfounded. We have one single sweet sandy buck who will remain here with us forever. We are thankful to have a few of Marley's kids here in our program and 3L's Other Brother Daryl is still here as well. Sweet Marley was laid to rest beneath a pink lilac tree where her memory can live on. We are heartbroken. Run with the angels beautiful girl.

Yesterday 3Ls Ken went to summer school. He was there to teach kids all about rabbits. He visited four classes ranging from toddler to 1st grade and made many new friends. After his many pets it was time for a nap.

Our rabbitry grew by 9 Steel Flemish Giants yesterday. We have high hopes for Hattie and Earl's kits.
