My coworkers are cuter than yours 🥰

The gang are by my side in their pen this week, and they make work just that little bit sweeter.

Yes, we have one missing. Little Kirby has been hit the hardest by their congestion and she was briefly very sick last week. Thankfully, she recovered really quickly, but unfortunately went back downhill on Sunday. She’s been struggling to breathe, so the wonderful is holding her for a few days so that she can be on oxygen.
She needs to be in the incubator for that, which is fine at home, but of course I can’t do that while I’m at the office, so Casey saves the day once again!


Kirby is doing well, and heading in the right direction, so she will be reunited with her siblings soon.

It’s time to move out of the incubator today! Some are peeing in their bed, and they all like to try to fling themselves out of the incubator in their manic race for the bottle whenever I open the door 😅

Weekend fun with the summer drinks 💙

These sweet babies will be having their spay & neuter surgeries in about a week - then they’ll be off to their forever homes!
So far we’ve had a lot of interest in Root Beet Float & Lemonade (black and solid grey) - but their brothers, Hwachae and Spritz, are just as loving and fun!

Usually, black kittens are overlooked, but Root Beer Float has been the star of this litter! We’ve had multiple inquiries about adopting, and they’ve mostly been for this little guy 😻

Let’s hope we’re still on the black cat high when it’s time to adopt my other litter, because I’ve got 5 of them 😛


Please note - his eyes will *not* stay this colour. In fact, he’s already changed a ton since I took this photo. Everyone’s now on the murky greenish eyes, as they’re likely on their way to a standard yellow/orange.

ALL kittens are born with blue eyes. Around 6 weeks old (sometimes a little earlier) they begin changing. By 8 weeks they’re normally in the in-between green stage, then are 12 weeks old they tend to have their permanent eye colour.

3 weeks old 🎉

We don’t have collars this week because I don’t want them harbouring spores.
If you missed my post last week, these guys have ringworm, and it’s increased every day since it popped up last weekend. They’re absolutely covered in it now 🫠

So - I’m not getting many photos of them due to wearing gloves to feed them and intentionally not touching anything else while I’m with them. Everything is getting cleaned regularly, and the babies are on oral meds and a medicated shampoo bath every few days.

Ringworm has always been something that’s been my no-go in my house for a number of reasons, and I’ve thankfully managed to avoid it so far - until now!
It’s a little overwhelming, especially with how much they have all over them (including the neck - hence no collars), and it’s such a long process to clear up, but we’ll get there. Hopefully sooner rather than later 🤞🏻

The plus side is that they’re small and so well contained, with no shedding hair, that it’s making it easy to keep it away from everyone else!

Worse than dealing with the fungal infection itself, though, is the fact that they are SO stinking cute and I can’t even cuddle them 😭 what kind of torture is this?

Anyway, aside from that they’ve all had very stuffed up noses but nebuliser sessions in the incubator have helped a lot, so they’re all doing really well! Everyone is growing fast and thriving.

Their chubby little bellies are the cutest things and they’re such a happy little bunch.

I can’t wait to be able to snuggle with them 🥰

Spritz and Hwachae would like you to know that they are just as sweet as Lemonade & Root Beer!

These two brothers are so much fun. They’re loving and cuddly, and always purring. Both Spritz and Hwachae like to climb on my lap for cuddles, and can often be found chasing each other around the room playing! These two are social butterflies - they are smitten with their big foster sister, Vada 😻

Spritz, Hwachae, and the rest of the summer drinks will be adoptable in mid-July.

I seem to have a baby Vada on my hands. Little Lemonade is the sweetest girl. She’s always purring and always wants to be held and cuddled.
When I pick her up, she makes biscuits on me as she reaches her head up to give me nose kisses.

Lemonade loves people, and is such a snuggler. She’ll cry for attention and it’s just adorable.

She also loves her siblings, and as you can see, she and Root Beer Float can often be found snuggling together on my lap!


The summer drinks will be adoptable in just a couple of weeks (once they’ve had their spay/neuter surgeries!). If you’d like to adopt a pair - or maybe one as a friend for your young cat - feel free to DM me.
