Sometimes parents abandon the nest for any number of reasons, to us every life is worth a chance. We decided to put the eggs in our incubator, to see what happens. Wouldn't you know it, just a few days later this stunning male cockatiel baby was hatched. This baby was hand fed from the first day it was hatched until weaned, and it's an absolute sweetheart. Pirates have nothing on my shoulder buddy 🏴‍☠️🦜
Sharing this sweet update, one of our beautiful Pineapple Green Cheek Conures (on right) has found her forever family and friend.

Makes me proud to see another one of our feathered babies, settling in so quickly and adjusting well. ❤️ Just goes to show even if you already have a feathered companion at home and choose to pick up another from B&T, it should be no problem adding one of our babies to your flock.

These days you have to plug in your phone, computer, now even your car, one thing you will never have to charge is the personality of an English Budgie Hybrid. Hybrids are very fun birds especially when you get the large size of an English Budgie, with the playfulness of an American Parakeet. They love to interact with the family, and just enjoy as much out of cage time as you have for them.

Make sure to plug your car in this evening so you can swing by B&T tomorrow 😂, We will be available tomorrow from 8 a.m - 5 p.m.

TRAINING DAY Target training with Morph😄. This video was shared by a customer who stopped by for a green cheek conure baby, just a few days ago. Been looking for a feathered companion but worried about it being tame, sweet, and easily trainable? B&T is the place to be 🐝. All of the green cheek babies from the clutch have been rehomed but we do have two more babies that are currently being hand-fed and will be available soon, you can expect that they will be just as sweet and tame as this baby. I want to thank those who send videos and pictures. If you have sent an update over and it has not been shared, I apologize. I'm working on getting caught up on all updates but because we stay pretty busy tending to birds, I do get behind. Just the Two of Us!

My mother-in-law (Linda Shrider) had purchased a couple of birds from Bill Spears, while he was still set up out at Trader’s Village. Brad actually worked next door to Bill, out there doing airbrushing but he has always loved and had an interest in birds. Anyhow, it’s been many years since but Brad kept in touch with Bill and before he passed we were both able to spend time with Bill and learn so much more about these feathered beauties. My love for birds actually started with one cockatiel, after losing my Mom to her battle with cancer in 2018. It was not until then that I realized, how special these little guys are. Some might say, “it’s just a bird” but for me, Sonny (my cockatiel) is like my little angel. Sometimes an annoying little angel but I love him dearly! Brad and I decided that we wanted to start breeding our own birds, on a very small scale. We chose to do this because of the joy these birds have given to us after losing so much. At the end of the day, we hope that our birds (or angels) will give you the same happiness that they have given to us. We sincerely put our love and personal care into each bird. Our love for Sonny as well as our entire flock is something I cannot explain but I assure you, if you purchase a bird from us, it has been very well taken care of before leaving our home. These feathered beauties have helped us through the most difficult times in our lives. Unfortunately, Brad lost both of his parents to cancer in 2014 (within 3 months of each other) and my Mom in 2018. To lose so much in a matter of 4 years, has been extremely difficult but by the grace of GOD and our new passion for birds, we are making it.

Thanks SO very much to everyone for your support in our new venture. This is something we truly enjoy and there is nothing like having a customer leave with a big smile, ready for their feathered friend. This is why I always love seeing pictures and getting updates as Brad has probably told everyone.
