ADOPT ME!

As some of you may know, I'm currently fostering a little rabbit named Basil! He was found in a parking garage. My guess is that he was purchased as an Easter bunny for a child and abandoned soon thereafter. Though wild bunnies are fine outside, domesticated bunnies are not able to survive long outdoors, especially when they're white like Basil. He hopped right up to the guy who found him and let him scoop him right up! He absolutely loves people, cats and dogs. He loves cuddling! This little guy would be the perfect addition to any home. From my past exposure to rabbits, my guess is that Basil is still fairly young, with a very general guess of 6 months. He is a lop bunny, potentially a Holland Lop or French Lop. He has only peed in his litter box since being with me and we are working on completing his litter box training.

Though he is not currently neutered, I am looking into getting that done at a local rabbit-knowledgeable vet. When that is done, he will also get all of his shots!

He will come with a complete starter bunny starter pack of all of the things I have for him, plus whatever veggies I have left for him at the time! I have gotten him a large exercise pen, wood chews, litter box, water bowl, hay/pellet bowl, 20lbs of pellets, 2 bulk bags of hay, 3 bulk bags of paper litter and a container to hold the pellets. You would have no need to go to the pet store for months. Because of all of this, his adoption fee before being neutered is $150, while after is $200. The pen alone is $60 and each bag of pellets/hay/litter is about $20, so this is a pretty good deal! I've seen adoption fees at local rescues up to $150.
