On October 30, I retired and Downward Dog Grooming closed. Although it was a difficult decision and I miss all of you, especially your pups, I am enjoying retirement. I am now ready to sell some of my equipment. Let me know if you're interested, or if you know anyone who is. Thanks!

Josie, an adorable 4 1/2 year Golden Retriever, and Quinn, a sweet 8 1/2 year Rottweiler came in for their de-sheds. They are so excited, as their mom and dad are getting married very soon. Josie and Quinn will be coming back soon for de-sheds, just before the wedding, as they will be a big part of the celebration! They want to look just as pretty as their mom, the bride!

Look at this sweet boy! The first photo is River during his first groom. I believe he was about 15 weeks old. A bit tired afterwards. 2nd photo is River, who is now 3 years 3 months old! River is a Labradoodle, with wiry hair. When River was a baby, mom & dad kept his hair a little longer, but as he has grown (which he certainly has!), we're going with a shorter cut. As you can tell by his first groom, this guy is very easy going! What a great dog to groom!

Sweet siblings! Left is Finnigan, and his sister, Maggie. Finnigan went first, showing Maggie how it's done. Maggie loved the small hairdryer, but not so much the large one....yet, I'm guessing she's the one sticking her head out the window on car rides! Next is Ace & Remi. Ace was apprehensive of the bathtub, so Remi went in first. As soon as Ace was in, she safely exited, waiting for her turn!

A couple of these pups are trying to give their parents a hint that they're ready for a vacation! Here is Gracie Mae, a sweet Brittany. Sadie, a Havanese is smiling because she just got back from a long vacation in Florida. Roo, a English Springer, is just happy that his hair is short for the summer. Macie, a Shorkie, is also very happy to have her hair short. Mom says she thinks she's a retriever, swimming every day!

These pups are getting ready for warmer weather! Annie, a Havanese is turning 7 years the end of this month. We wish her a Happy Birthday! Rafi, a Bernedoodle, is enjoying time with his grandma at Camp Boji! Sullivan, a Maltipoo, went with a bit shorter of a cut than usual. Poor Finley has been dealing with allergies....one of the not so fun things about the beginning of summer!

Memorial weekend marks the unofficial start of summer. Here are a few active pups getting ready for summer with their short cuts! Lily is a 12 year Chihuahua/Pom mix. On the left is Watson, a Cocker Spaniel. This guy is full of energy....you might guess him to be 9 months old, but no! This guy just turned 9 years on April 27. Happy Birthday Watson! Upper right is Gary, a sweet Goldendoodle who is a bit on the shy side, but such a good boy! Lower right is Hazel, an adorable, very well behaved Aussie Doodle. What a great bunch!
