On October 30, I retired and Downward Dog Grooming closed. Although it was a difficult decision and I miss all of you, especially your pups, I am enjoying retirement. I am now ready to sell some of my equipment. Let me know if you're interested, or if you know anyone who is. Thanks!

Josie, an adorable 4 1/2 year Golden Retriever, and Quinn, a sweet 8 1/2 year Rottweiler came in for their de-sheds. They are so excited, as their mom and dad are getting married very soon. Josie and Quinn will be coming back soon for de-sheds, just before the wedding, as they will be a big part of the celebration! They want to look just as pretty as their mom, the bride!

Look at this sweet boy! The first photo is River during his first groom. I believe he was about 15 weeks old. A bit tired afterwards. 2nd photo is River, who is now 3 years 3 months old! River is a Labradoodle, with wiry hair. When River was a baby, mom & dad kept his hair a little longer, but as he has grown (which he certainly has!), we're going with a shorter cut. As you can tell by his first groom, this guy is very easy going! What a great dog to groom!

Sweet siblings! Left is Finnigan, and his sister, Maggie. Finnigan went first, showing Maggie how it's done. Maggie loved the small hairdryer, but not so much the large one....yet, I'm guessing she's the one sticking her head out the window on car rides! Next is Ace & Remi. Ace was apprehensive of the bathtub, so Remi went in first. As soon as Ace was in, she safely exited, waiting for her turn!

A couple of these pups are trying to give their parents a hint that they're ready for a vacation! Here is Gracie Mae, a sweet Brittany. Sadie, a Havanese is smiling because she just got back from a long vacation in Florida. Roo, a English Springer, is just happy that his hair is short for the summer. Macie, a Shorkie, is also very happy to have her hair short. Mom says she thinks she's a retriever, swimming every day!

These pups are getting ready for warmer weather! Annie, a Havanese is turning 7 years the end of this month. We wish her a Happy Birthday! Rafi, a Bernedoodle, is enjoying time with his grandma at Camp Boji! Sullivan, a Maltipoo, went with a bit shorter of a cut than usual. Poor Finley has been dealing with allergies....one of the not so fun things about the beginning of summer!

On the left is Watson, a Cocker Spaniel. This guy is full of energy....you might guess him to be 9 months old, but no! This guy just turned 9 years on April 27. Happy Birthday Watson! Adorable pups! Boulder (upper left) is a 1 1/2 year Goldendoodle. He has an adorable "Stud Muffin" bow tie on, but he didn't want to show it off. Upper right is Bella, a 4 month Shih Tzu. We took baby steps with this little girl's first groom. Lower left is Riley, a sweet 2 1/2 year Labradoodle and lower right is Akrum, a 7 year Golden Retriever. He's the oldest puppy of the bunch!

Look at adorable Kip with his mullet cut....Kip lives with a very busy family, having a short cut, but we added the mullet. Love it! His brother, Louie is on the upper right....again, a short cut with a cute face and tail. Middle right is Annie, a sweet, adorable Havanese, turning seven years in June. Who would know...she's got energy and she's a bit of a wiggly worm! Lower right is Roscoe, a rescued Rottweiler, turning 10 in September. Roscoe loves having his back scratched, releasing that unwanted hair!

Look at these cute Fuzzy Wuzzies! Paxton is a very sweet Sheepadoodle. Upper right is Charlie, a Cavapoo....he's wondering what's going on. Middle right is Chip, such an easy going Aussiedoodle, and lower right is Snickers, a loving Yorkipoo. They all have quite short hair styles with a bit of fluff for their faces! Top photos are adorable terriers! Mazie is a West Highland Terrier (Westie) and Boji & Bentley are Biewer Yorkshire Terriers. Lower is Walter, a very handsome Springer Spaniel and Lilly, a shy but very sweet Cockapoo. They all have wonderful pawrents that take very good care of them!

What a wonderful birthday party at the Lucky Break Ranch! Genie turned 29 years on 4/4 and Fancy turned 22 years on 4/2! Genie and Jojo, the cat are hanging at the hay barrel! Not shown are their best horse buddies, Benny and Rose! You've got to love this herd! In riding a horse, we borrow freedom! Can't wait to celebrate Genie's 30th birthday party next year! It's going to be a big bang!
