A 2 week transformation on “Squabby”, a 4 year old gelding who was kind of a known outlaw that I got into training to do some ground work and be started under saddle. He’s now a completely different horse and has a bright future ahead of him! Can’t wait to see how he continues to progress with me.

If you know me, you know that I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Through the good and the bad, the happy and the sad, EVERYTHING. HAPPENS. FOR. A. REASON. It may not make sense to you now, and I know the feeling of failure and heartbreak is one of the most painful feelings to have… but maybe God ruined your plan, so your plan wouldn’t ruin you. Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together, and things go wrong so that you can appreciate them when they go right.
You aren’t failing, you aren’t going backwards, and you’re not behind. You are right on time for the divine plan that God has for your life.

Utah folks- here’s your opportunity to get your horses sent to school! I will be taking in a select few outside horses for training! I would like to focus on unstarted/ green c**ts, barrel horses, and using horses. This will include hauling and exposure to new arenas, trails, and new environments.
You’re horse will get the proper foundation that he/she needs to have a successful career, no matter what path that may lead to!
I have trained horses from the ground up that have multiple proven 1D stats in the barrel pen as well as great ranch, rope, and trick trained horses.
Stallion accommodations are available as well.

It’s been a great past week with the Moe man! On Friday and Saturday we went to White Pine TN for the IBRA races and got 2nd in the 1D on Friday then won the 1D on Saturday, then yesterday we won the 1D at the Sugar Ridge race in Inman SC even with a slip around 2nd barrel🥰. Let’s see where this weekend lands us in barrel racer land!

A 2 week transformation on “Squabby”, a 4 year old gelding who was kind of a known outlaw that I got into training to do some ground work and be started under saddle. He’s now a completely different horse and has a bright future ahead of him! Can’t wait to see how he continues to progress with me.

Trailer loading/ unloading is one of the first things I teach a colt so it will make hauling stress free and easy (for both the owner and the horse!)

Glad to be back at it! This year is going to be a good year!

Tonight was also Queso’s (a client horse I’ve been training) first time running and he pulled us a check in the 3D! The Moe man also won us another one tonight! So extremely proud of how the boys worked

Porkchop (on the right) is one of the most well behaved stallions I have ever been around. He acts like a complete gentleman while the new 3 year old harasses him 🤣. Super excited to have him added to my little herd and I can’t wait to see what he makes!

Moe and I went to a barrel race last night at the last minute and won the open! So proud of how this guy is progressing

Why do I take so much time establishing ground work? Because this is what I want every first ride to look like! Miss Brandy was spooky and one to buck around the pen when you threw a saddle on her, now her demeanor is a night and day difference! I want every horse to feel comfortable and have an idea of the simple cues I’m going to ask before I ever swing a leg over them, so that most first rides can look like this one!

Couldn’t be prouder of my Moe man for the way he worked for me this past weekend! Even with two stumbles on the pattern, he still placed 10th up there with the big dogs in the 1D in the big spender race!

So proud of my Moe man yesterday! He’s not in shape and we made a jam up first run- but the timers messed up and we had to turn directly around and make ANOTHER run. Even though he was tired he still won us 3rd in the 1D! Love this colt and can’t wait to see what he turns into ❤️

Colts are always so dramatic with their first saddling 🤣 Mac Daddy may never be a good bronc, but I know he’s going to make a jam up riding horse! I can’t wait to get this guy started 🥰
