Found this beautiful girl running down a busy 2 lane highway last week. No owners have come forward, and my housemate is planning on keeping her. Fiona is the sweetest and strangely quiet for a hound dog (i’ve heard her bark ONCE and it was when my dogs were howling).

She is posted in groups and on the humane society under found/lost pets.

Before studying more on dog behavior and dog training, I was not very educated on different terms used in the dog training world.

Here you can learn more about positive/negative reinforcement and positive/negative punishment.

In dog training the terms positive and negative are used like they are math terms: addition = positive, adding something
subtraction = negative, take something
