Spike and Comet are both 4 years old and roughly 42-44” tall (I can put a stick on them to be sure). But they’re great size combined with their willing temperaments make them a fun pair to have around. They are a well matched pair, the only difference is Comet has a little white “C” on his forehead.
They are both broke very well to drive both single and double. They’ve been on loose rigging as well as carts and a sleigh. They’re a fun pleasure driving pair, but I think they have lots of potential for Combined Driving Events, or a flashy parade pair. They don’t shy away from work though, so they’d be a handy pair just to have around the farm to twitch out firewood, cultivate your garden, drag your fields or arena, or even pulling. Their potential is endless really.
Comet also rides really well. This fall he was my daughter Collins’ go to pony to grab for trail rides. He rides w/t/c with a saddle or bareback, up the road or in the woods just the same. He’s traffic safe, crosses water/logs/mud/open fields etc. and is not spooky. He will ride in amongst a big group of horses new to him and you don’t have to worry about him kicking or squealing, he’s just content to follow along. He’ll trot poles and small cross rails in the ring too. Spike has had probably 3 rides on him so far and does alright leadline but he could use more work in that department before he’d be ready for a kid to ride independently.
Both are sound and healthy, no history of founder and no maintenance. They lead, load, trailer, tie, good with their feet etc. You can walk up to them in the pasture and they get along well in the herd. We’d love to see them go together but they are available separately as well.

❗️ S O L D❗️ 🤎Mayberry🤎 3yo mare standing just under 10h. She is broke to ride and drive single & double. She is an easy to get along with mare that has her whole life ahead of her and all the potential in the world. My kids have ridden and driven her in the ring, up the road and on the trail. She’s also been over lots of obstacles and is brave to that. She knows how to lunge and has good ground manners. She turns out with others and is middle of the herd. She loads, ties, picks up all four feet, etc. Sound, good feet (no founder), no known health issues. PM with any questions.
