Here's a fun one!
My favorite thing about my job is getting the privilege to documenting peoples lives throughout decades. Here's a little kid that I've been photographing since he was born. He's now a high school senior in Portland. He and his parents came all the way down to Ashland to have both their kids senior portraits photographed by me. This warms my heart and really makes me smile. Kai Miles, 2006 to 2023.

My name is Tyre D. Nichols. I am an aspiring photographer. Well I mostly do this stuff for fun but i enjoy it very much. Photography helps me look at the world in a more creative way. It expresses me in ways i cannot write down for people. I take different types of photograhy, anywhere from action sports to rural photos, to bodies of water and my favorite.. landscape photography. My vision is to bring my viewers deep into what i am seeing through my eye and out through my lens. People have a story to tell why not capture it instead of doing the "norm" and writing it down or speaking it. I hope to one day let people see what i see and to hopefully admire my work based on the quality and ideals of my work. So on that note enjoy my page and let me know what you think.

Getting to watch babies grow into kids, and then into teens. I've had the privilege to photograph these two since they were born and they are two of my favorite people.

Ah...home!
It's as if it never happened. Nothing has changed, yet I feel renewed and a little different. Traveling does that.
I'm back in my office, with my sweet kitten (who is twice as big now). I'm ready to get back to work.
I am rejuvenated, grateful and I have a refreshed attitude. My memories of the most lovely trip with my mom and aunt will forever remain in my heart and mind.
