Centerra’s VP of Propane, Matt Fugate and Marketing Specialist, Jen Warden had the honor of presenting a check for nearly a quarter of a million dollars on behalf of Fueling the Cure (Centerra Co-op’s partnership with Heritage Cooperative, Sunrise Cooperative, and Premier Energy) to the James Cancer Hospital at their CFAES campus in Columbus today. The group got to tour their state-of-the-art greenhouses and learn about the work their researchers are doing to find cancer fighting properties in our foods.

Our 2025 Calendar Photo Contest has come to an end. We are so impressed with the more than 500 incredible images you submitted this year (though it sure makes the selection process hard on us)! We're grateful to the hundreds of folks who took time to review the submissions and cast votes for the Fan Favorite selection. This week, Centerra Co-op and Centerra Country Stores were honored to team up with other businesses and organizations in our area to provide some relief to folks in North Carolina and eastern Tennessee. A special thanks to the folks at Exotic Fabrications, LLC in Wooster, OH and also the crew at Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co., Inc. for coordinating everything and bringing people together to help those in need.

The operation out of Wooster consisted of 3 full trailers of various supplies donated by area businesses, organizations and individuals and was delivered to North Carolina.

The operation out of Brunswick consisted of 2 truckloads of items ranging from pet and livestock feeds and hay to baby food/formula, hygiene products and food items. These items were also donated by an assortment of area businesses, organizations and individuals and arrived in Greenville, TN on Oct. 9 to be distributed in east TN and the Ashville, NC areas.

We're sharing photos of the materials being loaded and delivered by the generous drivers who made the trips down to these devastated areas. Thank you to all who contributed and our prayers remain with those affected by the recent hurricanes.
