#hohteamcatoricheckin # 4 and our last before our competition. Here’s a recap of some of our highlights, and stay for the end for a little something new from tonight!
In just two weeks time from tonight, she’ll be on her way home with her new owner.
I am so incredibly grateful for the past 3 1/2 months that I’ve been blessed with the opportunity of spending with Catori. I’ve put everything in my being, literal blood, sweat, and tears into this horse. I’ve lived and breathed everything with this horse in mind and how can I be better for her.
She’s taught me so much and I’ve grown as a horsewoman in so many ways thanks to this experience. Letting her go to someone else will be hard, but I have so much pride in what I’ve done with this horse and I’ll be sending a piece of my heart with her.
I can’t wait to get in front of a crowd with her and feel that energy and for it all to come together. She’s given me her all so far, I know she will then too 💕
Thank you to all who have followed along with me and supported me in so many ways throughout this journey! What an absolute dream I get to live everyday. #hohteamcatori #mustang The Safe Horse Project #purina
Catori and Edward both rode amazing in the Columbiana Cowboy Day Parade!! About ride number 20 for both of these two…not gonna lie I almost had second thoughts about doing it lol…but they made us all so proud! It was a HUGE ride and this video was before we got to the main downtown part with the huge crowd. They behaved so well just like they were old broke horses that had done this before. Loved getting the chance to show them off 🤩

Doesn’t Catori look cute wearing the bareback pad?☺️
I like to introduce the bareback pad for a day or so before the saddle, so they can get accustomed to the sensation of the girth tightening around their belly before adding the weight and moving parts of the saddle in addition to that all at once.
She looks like she’ll be a comfy ride!

Catori and the rest of our crew are loaded and making the trip back to Alabama, where they will begin the training they need to find their forever homes. See ya back here in Jackson, Mississippi in 4 months!
