So back in November we had to make the difficult decision to spay one of our sweet mommas early… Most of you breeders out there know that if you have to make that decision then that decision is followed up by thoughts and decisions about what will be the best life for our mommas who will no longer be whelping….My Suri Prim was a momma to the core. I no sooner started contemplating what would be best to honor her for the amazing dog she is and behind the scenes the Lord was at work. It was a terribly hard to imagine that anyone could love her even close to how much I do but one night I was sitting with her and thinking about all the things and I decided To pray about it. Next morn.… I kid you not my amazing friend .reneeblack text me and says something like I was talking to my good friend who just so happened to be wanting to add a dog to her family as a companion for her other Bernadoodle. She is such an amazing person with an amazing family and you would love her. I told her all about Suri. here is her number give her a call. 😮 ok my heart was in a panic 😱 because this was my Suri girl 🐶 but I did. I thought 💭 I’ll try, it won’t hurt 😔 well we hit it off… turns out we had lots and lots in common, she lives near my family so I could see Suri from time to time, Suri would be near her own pup Bandon and it all just fell into place. We met at a park where I met pretty much the whole family and Suri and her new brother Thor hit it off… so all that to say how amazed I am at how God works out the simple details that some might think are silly but for me it was so awesome. Suri loves her new family. And I can’t wait to go visiting… lots of you have messaged and or asked about miss Suri Prim and so there you have it. She’s just out living her best new life being loved and enjoying life and most of all being honored for the amazing momma dog she was… here is to retirement Miss Suri Prim you are loved 🥰

Past puppy update… we are so proud of miss Aurora from Naira and Magics litter she has passed her tests and is now certified this amazing girl has been trained and can detect food allergies in foods for her human… 🥇 🏆 🏅

If your newly spayed Momma won’t eat and is feeling blue… first go into your room and find one of your body suits for her to wear so that she can get that crazy cone off her head… Also… just let her have the body suit not just borrow it… you don’t want or need that thing back. Then scoop her up and take her to work with you and let her sit in the sun ☀️ in the front of the office on the chair 🪑 your office mate Sari from Accademy mortgage likes to sit and just let that little momma laze around all day … keep her hydrated 💦 and give her her pain 💊 she'll perk up ⬆️

Big girl Ruby has had her first heat cycle and her cytology was normal so this girl looks to be reproductively normal slide on computer screen shows when she was about a day or so before optimal breeding. Doing cytology on my mommas has been a great way for me to track their heat cycle… we can’t wait for this momma to be ready for her first litter next steps are hips and elbows, vet health screening and embark. Ruby will be our momma of F1B full Standard Bernedoodles. Both Dame and Sire have amazing temperaments and are gentle, intuitive dogs.
