🚨 Deo Vet Update: He Needs Your Help! 🚨

After Deo's vet visit this week, he continues to be the bravest boy 💖 He received a convenia shot and next guard, but the wounds on his neck and butt need to be cleaned daily and bandaged. 🙏 One of our dedicated fosters, will be caring for him.

Our vet let us know that Deo urgently needs surgery to remove severe polyps in his ears, and this procedure will need to happen at a specialty hospital. The cost could be in the thousands. We’re trying to figure out the best plan for him, but we need your support too! 💸🙏

🚨 Urgent Update on Deo 🚨

Yesterday, while giving him a medical bath, we discovered that the wound on his neck has grown larger, and his ears are full of mucus due to a polyp that urgently needs removal. 😢

We cleaned his wounds, washed him twice, and applied ointment, but it’s clear that Deo needs to see the vet TODAY as it is an emergency. He needs proper medication, surgery and pain relief to help him heal. 💔

Despite everything he’s going through, Deo continues to be such a good boy. He deserves a chance to live without pain, but we need your help to cover his medical costs. Deo had severe injuries, including a bloody neck and noticeable wobble. After finally capturing him, we discovered he had polyps in both ears, a large cut on his neck, was completely deaf, and tested positive for FIV. Despite all this, Deo’s spirit remains unbroken. 💔🐱

Grigio Update:

Our amazing volunteer Stuart took Grigio to his AMC appointment on 9/5/24, and he had to stay overnight. Earlier that same day, Grigio was at VEG, where they discovered he may have a more complicated health issue and needed to be transferred to AMC. The VEG doctors did a fantastic job providing AMC with all of Grigio’s paperwork seamlessly.

At AMC, Grigio received top-quality care. He was found to be very anemic and has enlarged kidneys, but the good news is, based on AMC’s results, he does not have cancer! 🙏 He will need close monitoring as his wound continues to heal.

Grigio is such a chatty, sweet kitty who needs our help to get healthy and become adoptable in the future. Please help us reach our goal to cover his medical expenses and give him the best chance at a full recovery. ❤️🐾
