One of the best updates we’ve ever received! 🦊

The update I just received on this sweet baby was so long that instead of taking a screenshot of the message I’m just going to copy and paste.

“Hey this is Caleb and Emma! we took this girl home from you July 16th of last year, her birthday was last month and I wanted to give you an update since she’s a little over a year old now (born 5/17/22). We absolutely love our little Kaida, she is the sweetest dog and has the biggest personality of just about any pup we’ve ever had. She is unbelievably smart and as of this Sunday is an AKC registered Canine Good Citizen recognized by the state of Texas. Along with multiple certifications from her different training classes that she excelled in as well. We knew going with a shiba might be difficult due to their inherent stubborn traits. Kaida has proven not only us wrong, but her trainer as well. I can quote her in saying that she has never seen another shiba in all of her years working with dogs that is so well behaved, sociable, and easy to work with. Kaida has managed to change the perception of Shiba Inu’s for many people that have met her and know about the breed. With a few people I’ve met having negative thoughts on the breed completely turned around after interacting with the dog.
As of now Kaida will be beginning her next steps in training as she works towards becoming a state registered service dog with additional training in general therapy. She is an ambassador for the breed and leaves nothing but positive impressions everywhere she goes. Even more so on my girlfriend and I as she has helped reshape our lives in many different ways. We can not thank you enough for the work you’ve put in with these dogs to get them to the point where you have them today. Your hard work has helped give us not only a great dog, but a forever family member to love and grow with.
We will be continuing to update you with pictures over the years she’s with us, so long as this stays your phone number! The pictures I included are from her class graduation, the day we brought her home from you, and her trip to pikes peak in Colorado (9/3/22) where she came with us to the summit to stand on top of the world!
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to bring this girl home. Someday we might just have to bring home yet another!”

Due to no fault of her own this girl is available again. We drove to meet her family and waited for 45 minutes for her new parents to pick her up and they never showed. 😢
