Some time ago we had a horse come through with an incredibly snarly mane, featuring some of the meanest knots we had ever seen. It looked like the worst would have to be cut out, but thanks to Cowboy Magic, this mare's mane was good as new in just a few minutes. If this product is not a part of your tack box, you (and your horse) are definitely missing out!

Happy New Year to all our friends and followers!

If you are wanting to pinch some pennies in 2024, why not mix up a batch of homemade horse treats? Just follow the recipe below and your horse(s) will come running!

1 lg. carrot, shredded
1 lg. apple, shredded
1 cu. molasses
2 1/2 cu. old-fashioned oats
2 T. vegetable oil

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Combine all ingredients in lg. bowl. Pour mixture into greased 13x9" pan. Press into pan. Bake for 40 minutes or until crispy. Let cool until slightly hardened. Cut into pieces. (Or you can save a step like we did and just bring the entire pan out to the barn! Our horses licked it clean.)
