🥳 My 2025 Rabbitry Goals:
1. Be consistently able to produce brood quality
2. Have 2,000 page followers (i.e. community members, mentors and friends) by the end of the year
3. Attend (not show at) at least one ARBA show

These goals may seem too small to some and too big to others, but I’m just starting out and have no real way of knowing if these are appropriate goals for me! But here I go anyways! 🤪 Achieving these goals would be a great success for me! 🤞🏼Please comment your goals below. I would love to hear them!

💜 To the BUNNY COMMUNITY…
As a newcomer to Holland Lop b.r.e.e.d.i.n.g in the Pacific Northwest, I’d like to introduce myself and my vision for Dear Little Darlings Rabbitry to you all.

As I’ve delved deeper into preparation for this project, I have not only become acutely aware of the commitment this “hobby” requires, but also of how much I LOVE learning about all of this! Color genetics, ARBA SOP, kindling… You name it… I love learning about it all! This project really does line up well with some of my personal skill sets and passions. I’m excited to get started! 👏🏻

I want to learn to breed well and I’d like to learn from the BEST… which leads me to you guys! During my short time in PNW bunny land, I have found this community not only to be producing beautiful rabbits, but also to be exceedingly kind and supportive, almost shockingly so. Instead of “b.u.s.i.n.e.s.ses” trying to edge out the competition, I find encouraging and passionate people eager to share their knowledge and to have me experience the joy that they have experienced. Many of you have displayed to me a genuine and infectious love of what you do and this makes me all-the-more want to be a part of it!

I am eager to learn from you all.
If I step on toes, use incorrect vernacular, etc, please know it’s inadvertent and I welcome helpful feedback. I am new to the etiquette of this world.

My goal for Dear Little Darlings Rabbitry is to build trusting friendships with quality b.r.e.e.d.e.r.s, and to further the Holland Lop breed by making breeding choices based on type and temperment. The ultimate goal is to eventually breed show quality Holland Lops.

I will be starting this adventure together with my family (although they don’t know it yet 🫣.) It is a Christmas surprise for them, and I’ve got to be honest, I’ve NEVER been more excited to give a gift in my life! They are going to be ECSTATIC! (And yes, it IS really hard to hide a bunch of rabbit cages!)
