With two horses graduating from our training program, Carrington Ridge Stables will have two boarding spots opening on July 1st. We specialize in retirement board, training board, and sales board. Currently, we are not looking for boarders with outside trainers. We strongly focus on creating a calm, peaceful environment for our horses. We do not have a lesson program, so you don't have to worry about working around busy schedules.
Our standard board includes daily turnout (weather permitting), free-choice orchard/fescue, feeding twice a day with lunch discussed as needed, blanketing/summer fly needs (fly spray, fly mask, etc.), and access to our amenities. We have a river sand arena with lights and a round pen for lunging.
We understand that retired horses need extra care, which we are happy to do. All care is handled by two people every day. You won't have to worry about medications or if they are receiving adequate care. We also understand that show horses stepping down need to adjust to the retired life and receive top-notch care still.
We offer affordable rates for both training and sales board. Horses are kept in tailored programs to allow them to thrive. We want you to leave the situation happy and focus on communication with all of our clients.

Adorable 2012 small green prospect offered for your consideration in Cu***ng, GA!
Snickers is a lifetime USEF, 12.1 easy measure. He has confirmed changes both ways, is a cute mover and jumps a ten every time. He did the Canadian smalls a few years ago, but he needs a tune-up to get ready for the division.
He is very sweet on the ground and has a great personality. Perfect for the vet, bathing, clipping, etc. He's barefoot and an easy keeper.
He's green for his age, so he is not quite ready for a little one yet, but he could easily be finished by a good junior in a program.

Carrington Ridge Stables has select boarding spots open for interested parties. We have one spot that would be perfect for a quiet horse to go out with an older guy, one spot for a horse or pony that needs less grass and to be on a smaller area, or one individual paddock. We are only accepting geldings right now.

We had a great time at the Cheryl and Co show this past weekend. The weather was great, and we loved the new ring. One of our favorite show series to support, especially with all of the fun activities on Friday.

It's hard to believe we are approaching the fall and winter months. While we are definitely not looking forward to the gloomy winter days, we are looking forward to celebrating our first anniversary in November. We are all so thankful for your support so far.

Carrington Ridge Stables is a family-owned and operated facility. With our private barn, our horses receive more hands-on attention than in your typical boarding facility. This means you will never have to worry about your horse not receiving the attention it deserves, especially during inclement weather.

Suppose your horse comes in sweaty from the summer's heat, no problem. We hose them and dry them off before putting them in their stall.

During the muggy, muddy winter months, we take the extra time to wash the horse's legs off, pick their feet, and dry them before putting them up.

As well as multiple-day checks, we also do night checks every single night. This includes cleaning stalls, refilling water buckets and hay bags, and giving the horse a late-night treat!

Hate going to the barn and there’s lessons booked every hour of the day? No problem. Here at Carrington Ridge Stables, we are a private barn that has limited lessons, meaning there is lots of availability to ride.

Are you used to constantly worrying about leaving your horses for a few days? At Carrington Ridge Stables, we pride ourselves in the care of our horses. This means that we clean the stalls as needed (sometimes over five times a day!), have multiple checks throughout the day to ensure horses constantly have ample food and water, and do whatever we need to do to keep our horses happy. Their safety and comfort is our #1 priority.
