Today we took a ride on the spin cycle! The Hexapups were able to feel the vibration, hear the roar and smell the detergent from the washing machine as it worked to clean clothes. There’s a narrow window of opportunity to get as many new sights, sounds, smells, textures and events in as possible, before these puppy brains change forever. The more positive associations that can be made, the more beautiful these puppy brains will be later in life! Grow puppy brains, grow!

The Hexapup’s world is rapidly expanding! This week we take our first of many outdoor adventure. Under the watchful eyes of Piker, the four boys and two girls are thriving. She’s really loving the smaller litter AND my undivided attention!

The Hexapups are officially three weeks old! This week has been super busy. Now that their eyes and ears are in working mode, the pups are getting exposures to a variety of sounds, smells, textures and events. Today was filled with a visit by little humans to help celebrate three weeks into the Grand adventure! Early exposure to people, big and small provides long-term beneficial effects!
