Happy number nine, Gatto! The birthday boy is thriving in his golden years. Born and bred in the Czech Republic, Gatto Vamoz Bohemia is the son of the great, Dinoso vom Eisernen Kreuz and Vera z Kurimskeho haje. He consistently reproduced his father’s line with his progeny performing task expected of the German Shepherd from as far north as Alaska, south to Florida, west to Arizona and east to Europe. If all goes as planned, Gatto will become a Grandpa the first of November. Through a daughter from the Original Piker Pups, the blood that Gatto inherited and has honorably carried, will pass to the next generation, making thirty generations since the very first German Shepherd started their genetic journey.

Happy 7th Birthday to the Piker! She still runs and plays like she’s seven months old! Peel back all that muscle and there’s a real sweetheart to her family. She has a big, bold personality that screams confidence. I imported her from Germany when she was still a puppy. Her real name is, Farin von RaDa's Diek. She is the daughter of Stacie vom Lusenpark and the legendary Pike del Lupo Nero. She was one of the last daughters of Pike, so in his honor I nicknamed her, Piker!

Received a phone call from Hazel’s family late yesterday. They were at UGA Vet hospital having their girl checked out. While retrieving her ball, she yelped and jumped back. She presented with a bloody, nasal discharge and excessive sneezing. Rhinoscopy revealed a stick deep in the nasal cavity. The Vet asked to keep it for a case study. Hazel loves to carry her sticks, but this time she took it a little too far!
