At the vet...Dottie has a blood draw this morning...to see if she's responding to the thyroid medicine. She was a total pain in the arse...hiding under the bed. Totally undaunted by the broom handle I use to roust Rockie from under there. Eventually I got her to a corner where I could reach under and grab her (there's only a 4" clearance). I got her by the scruff of her neck and she somehow widened her considerable back end and got stuck. She looked at me like "now what are you going to do, sucker?" As soon as she relaxed I was able to painlessly extricate her. But not before I was drenched in sweat. Nice, Dottie! Rockie was gone as soon as she saw the broom!!
