Wow! We have been incredibly overwhelmed with the response to the Atlas Pro-Team. You even broke the application (twice 👀). In less than 24 hours we had 350 applicants and now have over 400.

This year, looking for an opportunity to grow our business and the sport for the 2023 Dock Diving season, we reached a decision point. Our marketing budget increased and we wanted to do some good rather than just pay giants like Google and Facebook.

With the Atlas Pro-Team, we’re choosing to reinvest in the Dock Diving community. This will allow us to reach our marketing goals, instead of having our money go to these large corporations and be siphoned away from the sport. We see the team as a win-win opportunity – deserving candidates get support to continue their passion and we get the increased visibility that we are looking for.

Haven’t applied yet? We would love to see you there: chat.atlasoutfittersk9.com/apply

We're super excited to announce the first season of the Atlas Outfitters Pro-Team, a group of dock diving competitors sponsored by Atlas Outfitters!

You all have asked, and asked, and asked us if we offer sponsorships… and now we're excited for our first season! We will be offering sponsorship to 5 dogs and their owners.

Perks of sponsorship include: gear, swag, cash for entry fees and even a Nationals get together. All we ask in return? Your undying loyalty, and love, and the rights to your first born. (haha jk, your loyalty will do)

***What we're looking for in our team members***

1. You should be a customer
2. Active on Social Media
3. Planning on competing in dock diving events this year
4. Willing to post, share, and support Atlas Outfitters online
5. An enthusiastic Dock Diving competitor

***What we aren't looking for***

1. The best at everything. Your pup doesn’t need to be an Elite Division Jumper or best of breed to be on the team.
2. Highly experienced competitors. Even if you are pretty new to dock diving, if we can tell you love it and plan on continuing you are perfect for the team.
3. A social media guru. We are just looking for folks who can connect to those around them and also to us, we use Facebook and instagram quite a bit for communication.

Although we absolutely love our neighbors to the north, our sponsorship team is only for US participants this year.

If you think you and your pup want to be the next best thing coming from Atlas Outfitters then use this link to our super fun application: chat.atlasoutfittersk9.com/apply

Submissions are due by April 7th so don't delay!

Please share, share, share! We want everyone to have the opportunity to apply for the team. (It might even get you bonus points 😉)

Although I'd rather sit down to a chat to talk about dog training with Zak George, I am happy to try this way, as Zak requested. In this video I address Zak...

It’s upsetting I know. Nobody WANTS this to happen but I feel like this needs to be talked about and addressed.
What it is? It’s a Malinois with a broken neck. This is a real picture. It’s not photoshopped. No, it’s not my dog but it could have been. This was a good friend’s sport dog and he was an excellent specimen of a working dog. He is no more.
This didn’t have to happen, but it did.

THIS right here is the result of working a highly driven animal with little to no regard for their own preservation on an INEXPERIENCED helper/decoy. This is what happens when a decoy doesn’t know how to catch a dog. This is what can happen if a decoy falls on your dog. This is what can happen ANY time you choose to send your dog for a bite but the difference is the person catching your dog.
You’ve put lots of time, love and money into your dog. Why throw it all away and risk this if you don’t have to? Your ego? Peer pressure?
Certifications were made for a reason. It doesn’t guarantee your dog’s safety but it sure as hell counts for something and it means the person catching your dog has an understanding of rules/safety and has demonstrated this under the eyes of the experienced.
Just because you put on a suit it doesn’t mean you know what you are doing or have any business working dogs. There are waaaaay too many people getting in the suit and messing up dogs now. Please, for the sake of the dogs if nothing else...please learn proper technique and safety and stop putting yourself above the dogs!
If you are a handler, STOP SENDING YOUR DOG ON INEXPERIENCED DECOYS/HELPERS unless you just don’t care about your dog. It has to stop.
You’re welcome.

Worth the read!! With summer and the heat almost in full swing, know this danger to your dogs

Listen to Susan Paulsen's story, and you'll never look the same way again at your dog diving into your swimming pool or a glistening lake, or biting playfully at jets of water from your lawn sprinklers or garden hose.ü

LOL. Never say never!
