On a daily basis, our volunteers provide homeless cats and kittens with nourishment, medical treatment, affection, and most of all, help in finding them a loving home. Organizations like ours help the people and cats in our city and surrounding communities. We work hard to network with other local groups, animal shelters and p
eople when a cat or kitten is in need. Our rescue relies solely on the donations from our caring and devoted supporters. Without this, we would not be able to help the cats in need in our community.

We have adorable kittens ready for adoption! These sweet babies are eager to find their forever homes. They came to us as feral kittens and have made significant progress, though they still have some growing to do. Because a few are still learning about proper behavior and may nip, we prefer adopters without young children. 🚨 Drum roll please!!
Our handsome man, Sam, is ready for adoption. He’s a 5 year old Ragdoll with deep blue eyes that is looking for a home and someone nice to bond with. He was outdoors, not neutered and fending for himself for quite sometime. Because of that he did not trust people very much. Now that he’s clean, safe indoors and has been to the vet he is much happier! He would love a quiet home without other cats, dogs or small humans. He loves his foster mom, but it takes him a bit to warm up to new people. Once he trusts you, he is a typical Ragdoll that talks and flops for belly rubs. Meet Thursday - He's a handsome long haired black cat with white paws and white markings on his face, chest and tummy. He is approx. 3-5 years old and was trapped as a stray in March. His initial evaluation showed that he was an intact male who had been on his own living outside for quite awhile. His coat was heavily matted and his paw pads were like leather. Thursday needed to be shaved because of his matts but his beautiful furr is beginning to grow back. At first, he was thought to be semi-feral, but after a few weeks with his foster, Thursday proved he is actually a very sweet and loving cat who missed living indoors. He now spends his days sleeping in his favorite round bed, sun bathing and sitting in his foster’s lap. He can also be very playful, loves his wand toys, and loves to climb his cat tree. Thursday is still very shy, especially when meeting new people and will need adult humans who will be patient while Thursday learns to trust and adjust to his new home. He will do best as a single cat or with a friendly cat pal. Currently he is living in a foster home where he enjoys hanging out with the friendly resident cat. He is really a very sweet cat who deserves his own home!

🪽Shallie Journey Update:
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of Shallie's passing. She underwent a procedure to have a new feeding tube placed, and unfortunately, following the surgery, she developed congestive heart failure. Despite our best efforts, her little body couldn't endure any more, and we had to make the heart-wrenching decision to let her go and cross the rainbow bridge. We spared no effort, time, love or money. The costs we endured were significant, close to 10k. If anyone would like to donate to help cover expenses it would be greatly appreciated.

Guess who has gained an entire pound and is now up to 5 pounds? Shallie has shocked us all by deciding she wants to eat on her own, instead of being tube fed! This has helped her to gain weight quickly and have much more energy.

Exciting Update on Shallie's Journey! 🌟
She's absolutely rocking her daily routine of managing 6 medications and 5 feedings like a true champion! 🏆 We're overjoyed to see her playful spirit returning - a sure sign that she's feeling better! And the cherry on top? Last night, she even took a few licks of food and a some temptations all by herself! We're incredibly grateful for the outpouring of donations, love, and support from each and every one of you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 💕
🚨Update on Shallie:
She was discharged from the ER yesterday with her feeding tube and a regimen of essential medications. She's under close supervision by her devoted foster mom and is surrounded by an abundance of love and care. Your continued support and generous donations are deeply appreciated. However, her medical expenses have climbed to nearly 5k. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a meaningful difference in her journey to recovery. Thank you for standing by Shallie during this challenging time.
🐾 Update on Shallie's Journey 🐾
We wanted to take a moment to update you on Shallie's progress and extend our heartfelt gratitude for your incredible generosity and support during this challenging time. Ocean State Vet is doing everything to ensure her road to recovery. The feeding tube will be placed today. She’s currently on a glucose drip as she’s still not eating on her own and her blood sugar is extremely low. Due to her not eating they are leaning toward fatty liver disease. When she is under for the feeding tube, they will take a sample of her liver to make sure cancer is not part of the issue. All other blood work, urinalysis, x-ray, and abdominal ultrasound have come back clean.
We cannot express enough how much your support has meant to us and to Shallie. We also want to give a HUGE shout out to All Cats All The Time grant program for their donation of $500. Their kindness has not only helped alleviate the financial burden of her medical care but has also lifted our spirits during this difficult time.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing by Shallie and being a part of her journey to health and happiness. Your compassion and generosity have made all the difference.
We will continue to keep you updated on Shallie's progress, and please know that your support has truly made a difference in her life.
We're reaching out to our community for urgent support as we navigate a challenging journey with Shallie, our newest 5-year-old female Persian intake. Shallie comes to us after her owner passed away a few months ago. She’s been bravely battling health issues and has lost half of her tiny body weight. Today she was seen at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists for further tests, a feeding tube, and will remain there for 24-hour care for a few days.
The current estimate, at the lowest end, is over $3,000 and highest estimate is close to $4,500. Your assistance and support are crucial in aiding Shallie's recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in her journey back to health and happiness.

🚨 Surgery day is finally here for Big Al 🚨 Together we raised over 6k!! We are so grateful to the community, Thompson Realty Group, Aj's Furry Friends Mobile Pet Grooming, and Dr. Rachel Geller for coming together to help this big handsome lug. But, most of all, to Bethany Rosa for not turning a blind eye in his time of need - see what we did there. The additional money will be put to good use as Momma Tulip and her 3 flowers will need spay/neuter and all necessary shots over the next few months. Please send PAW-sitive thoughts his way as he goes in for surgery around 1pm. We will update everyone later tonight. ❤️

Did You Know?!!? MAFIA not only rescues, vets, fosters and finds furever homes for our kitties, but sometimes we even set them up in an outdoor barn environment instead! Auto and Paris were rescued and brought inside to socialize with the other kitties we had in foster at the time BUT they just didn't want to be inside kitty cats and sometimes that's just in their DNA! So.....we moved them to a barn that we use where kitties can be outside on their terms. We feed them, and socialize with them and continue to take care of them and will do so at our own expense. AS you can see, every single dollar you donate is used in SO many ways! Please enjoy this ridiculously adorable video of Auto and Paris living THEIR happily ever after!
