Good morning everyone! I hope everyone was able to make it through the storm as safe as possible. Me and my fur babies made it through with only a broken window. I feel very thankful because I had three very large trees fall on three different sides of my house and they somehow managed to fall away from it. And, since I'm in a rental, the rental company will send someone to fix the window and get the trees removed as soon as they're able to. If you are a weekly client of mine, and I will be visiting you over the next couple weeks, please be patient and flexible with the times. I have to do a lot of rerouting to get out of my neighborhood because of down trees, so I will get to each of your pets as quickly as I can. I help a lot of essential workers, so I definitely want to keep helping you in your time of need. And, since I'm self-employed, unfortunately I don't have the luxury of being compensated for not working. I will work with everyone the best that I can and I can't wait to see all of your fur babies next week 🥰🥰

I took my beautiful boy, Chance, to Pendleton King park yesterday. There was a gentleman there with his dog and he said he comes a few times a week and takes photos of the dogs and posts it on the pendleton dog park page. These are the amazing shots he got of Chance! I always just end up taking pictures of Chance when he's being goofy, so its awesome to have some great pictures to show how handsome he is!

I have had quite a few new people join my page. So, I wanted to give a little background about myself. I was born and raised in Beaufort South carolina. I come from a big military family. I have always had a huge passion for every kind of animal. I worked at a big name jewelry store for almost 10 years and that took me from my hometown to eventually Augusta georgia in 2019. In 2020 when they put us on furlough for covid, I had started doing pet sitting and dog walking to keep myself active and have something to do. I realized how much less stressed I was and how much I enjoyed seeing peoples loved fur babies every day. So, I decided to leave the jewelry business and start my own private pet care business. So, I've been doing that for a little over 4 years now and I have never looked back. It makes me feel so great knowing that I have so many clients that trust me with the care of their loved ones while they're at work or on vacation. The fact that I get paid to do something I truly love and appreciate is something that I never take for granted! The pets that I look in on have become part of my family and I love getting to see them grow and develop into such caring animals. I have three pets of my own. I have two wild and crazy cats. The white one with black spots is named Hero and the mostly black one is named Jade. I also have an 11-year-old Rottweiler mix named Chance. He had bone cancer several years ago and had to have a back leg removed, but that definitely doesn't stop him. I do appreciate everyone that reads this and gets to know me a little bit better. I have been doing this work for 4 years now. The pets that I get the privelage of taking care of become like my own. This is Bindi and I have been looking in on and walking her and her sister for about 3 years now. Her mom and dad informed me about a week and half ago that she had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and she lost that battle today. Its so unbelievable how energetic and vivacious she was a couple of weeks ago and now she is gone. Over the last couple of years, I have lost several client pups from old age/ illnesses. Each one breaks my heart as if they were my own and I shed tears for them. I know Bindi is over that rainbow bridge running with all the loved ones we have said goodbye to. 🐕🌈💖

When the german shepherd you're checking in on it is obsessed with fetch, no matter what the item is. He found this "splinter" of a stick and brought it back and kept putting it in my lap to throw for him 🤣🤣

"Why I shouldnt walk and run beside you today. Because I am a loyal dog, I often go beyond my limits. So I walk and run beside you, standing still if I have to. All while I feel my paws burning. Even as little as 5 minutes can be fatal to me and to my paws. My whole body starts boiling, but I’ll keep going because I am as loyal as loyal comes. I depend on you to know what’s in my best interest. So instead, let me stay at home where I can enjoy the sun, with a large bowl of water, somewhere in the shade. A cool area with grass would be best. With all the love I have in the whole world - I give it all to you - Love your dog 🩷🐾 "

I always feel so loved and appreciated with just the fact that pet parents trust me to care for their pets like I do my own. Things like these are just the cherry on top! 🥰 we had talked once before about how champagne toast was my favorite scent and she gifted me this from her girls 💖💖

Please keep this in mind when walking your dogs over the summer months! Lay your hand down on the surface you'll be walking them. If its too hot for you, its too hot for them! Their pawpads can easily be damaged by hot surfaces.

I get to take care of these beautiful girls for a few weeks while their dad gets settled in his new home in virginia. They retired from a breeding program and the breeder is a close friend of mine and has completely changed my mind about chihuahuas. They are so sweet and laid back 🥰🥰 grey is Lucy and light brown is Waffles.
