It is that time of year. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LEAVE YOUR DOG IN YOUR CAR. This is beyond dangerous! There is never a good reason to leave them in a car. Windows cracked, in the shade does NOT HELP! If you do see a dog in a car, call the non emergency police line and report it. Keep your pet safe, it only takes a few minutes for your dog to get hurt or worse.

This was brought to my attention yesterday and I feel the need to pass this information along. Please keep an eye on your pups! Any dogs who are experiencing any symptoms will not be allowed to come for daycare or boarding.

As always, all vaccinations must be up to date including bordetella (kennel cough) and I need copies of all records. If you do not have updated vaccinations your dog will not be allowed to stay. That has always been the policy here. If you have a stay coming up. I will be in contact with you if I do need any updated information.

Please be careful with dog parks and having your dog around any other dogs that you may not know. It doesn't look like there have been any reported cases in Ohio as of yet. I just want to make sure all of our pups are safe, healthy and stay that way.

I will still be having daycare and boarding as of now. Please keep any symptomatic dogs at home. If you know you will be coming here, please try to keep your dog away from other dogs that you do not know.

Training will continue uninterrupted, unless your dog is sick, they will need the rest and we will continue when they are better.

Let's do our part to make sure all of our pups are safe and healthy. If you speak with your vet and have any answer information you would like to share, please forward it to me.

Happy Summer!!

Keeping your dog safe and calm during fireworks.

-KEEP YOUR DOG INDOORS!
-Keep doors and windows closed
-Keep blinds and curtains closed
-Let them be! If they want to come by you that is fine but do not force them.
-If they want to hide, let them. They feel safe where they are.
-Turn on the TV or radio and turn up the volume.
-Turn on fans or the AC to help drown out the noise.
