🐾 Paw-sitive Endings: Thor 🐾

Thor found his furever home with Allison and Tyler on January 14, 2023.

This sweet boy loves cuddling, chewing on his favorite bones, and hanging out in the front yard on his leash.

Thor is also known for his welcome-home routine. If his humans take too long to give him attention after work, he will howl to remind them exactly where their priorities should be! 😂💚

We're so happy to see this lovable guy living his best, happy life!

Please help us share! Ready....Set....It's almost Sunday! Our babies are so excited for our big weekly Adoption Event, tomorrow - November 9th at the Petsmart in Florence Ky from 11-3. These two incredible boys have been inseparable for 7 years and would be forever grateful to continue their journey together. They are phenomenal around children, potty trained, crate trained and know all the essential commands to make them truly exceptional companions.
They have a passion for playing with toys and enjoy playing with ropes together. Rolly is a little more timid than his brother and is a snuggle bunny. Polly is outgoing and loves attention and play time.

Second Chance Spotlight: Sky's Story

Meet Sky! When she first came to Stray Haven, she was a pregnant, terrified feral dog who wanted nothing to do with humans. She kept her distance, protecting herself and her soon-to-arrive puppies.

Fast forward to now - thanks to her incredible foster momma - Sky is now snoozing on the couch, learning that humans can be kind, and even shared a snack right from her foster mom's hand! 💚

She's also been the best mom to her 8 adorable puppies (who are now ready to find their own forever loving homes!).

Thanks to her amazing foster mom, Sky is learning to love and trust humans.

Time for one of rescues Best Kept Secrets! StrayHaven is full of off the shelf pets. Dogs that are ready to plug in and thrive in their new home. Potty trained, crate trained and good with kids Cats and dogs.

Today we would like to introduce you to Remmy Red, a 2 year old Shepherd/Hound mix. Remmy is about to sleep for his 190th day in rescue. Please help us share this boy so that he can start his new life in his forever home.

When I tell you I am over the moon with this guy it is an understatement. Remmy has been the best foster a foster mom could ever ask for. He loves the outdoors, sun bathing, car rides, and is the most dog friendly dog I have ever met. He is great with kids and babies as well. He is available for adoption and I cannot wait to give the luckiest family in the world this little gem. If you are looking to add for your family please consider giving this guy a look!

Benny found his furever home with Jacob on May 30, 2025.

This adventurous pup loves nothing more than a good game of tug and cruising around in the Jeep with the doors off!

Benny is also known for lounging on top of his crate, rather than inside. Clearly, Benny prefers the penthouse suite! 😆

Meet Jaxton🐾At seven years old and a petite seven pounds, Jaxton is a tiny package filled with an enormous capacity for love. He is the definition of a "Velcro dog." His favorite place in the world is in your arms, and he will often prompt you to pick him up. If your lap is occupied, he is perfectly fine with laying right next to you, ensuring maximum body contact. He is a sweet, tender-hearted boy who easily falls in love and promises a lifetime of snuggles in return.Because Jaxton loves his people so much, and because he's a tiny fellow, he does have a few manageable quirks that his forever family needs to understand:
Jaxton can get a little protective of his bowl when other dogs approach while he's eating. This is easily managed by ensuring he eats his meals in a quiet, separate space (like his crate or a designated room) where he can enjoy his food in peace.
If left out when you're away, he may play in his water bowl, which we believe is a sign of separation anxiety or boredom. When you need to leave, his crate is his safe, secure den, and he does well there.
