🌰 Fall Nut Alert! As autumn leaves fall, so do nuts that can harm your pets:
Acorns: Contain tannins that can cause stomach upset and potentially kidney damage
Walnuts: Risk of intestinal blockage and toxic mold growth
Chestnuts: Choking hazard and possible intestinal obstruction
Hickory nuts: Can cause intestinal upset and blockages
Pecans: High fat content can lead to pancreatitis
Keep your yard clear of nuts, and watch your pet closely on walks. Symptoms to watch for: vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and abdominal pain. 🍁🐕
