🌟 Pet of the Month – September 🌟
Meet Lynnie!
Lynnie joined her forever family this past March through Austin Bulldog Rescue, and the past six months have been full of love, fun, and cuddles! 💕
She’s around 4 years old and a former puppy mill momma, but those days are behind her—she’s now living her very best life. When she first came home, Lynnie was recovering from complications from cherry eye surgery. Thanks to the wonderful care of Dr. Shifrin and our team, she’s made such amazing progress and continues to thrive.
Her personality shines brighter every day. At first shy, Lynnie has blossomed into the sweetest, most loving companion (so sweet it’s worth saying twice!). 🥰 She loves digging through her toy basket to pick out exactly what she wants, and she’s never shy about letting her family know—with a plaintive little howl—that it’s time for cuddles, attention, or snacks.
Lynnie is also adored by her young human cousins, where her patience and gentle nature make her a favorite playmate. She truly embodies the joy of second chances and the love rescue pets bring into our lives.
We are so happy to celebrate Lynnie as our September Pet of the Month! 🐶💖

Meet Kevin Dunkle, a lovable Basset Hound with a big personality and an even bigger heart — and our Pet of the Month for August here at Eye Care for Animals! 🐾💙
Kevin’s days are full of excitement and charm. He loves chasing lizards in the backyard, howling along with sirens, and going on walks with his dad. He’s especially close to his brother Cody, and the two are inseparable companions. 💕
When he’s not out adventuring, Kevin enjoys a relaxing sunbath on his favorite chaise lounge — and he even has a special friendship with a tortoise on the other side of the fence. 🐢🐶
With his soulful eyes and classic Basset Hound charm, Kevin reminds us every day how special our pets are. Congratulations, Kevin — we're proud to celebrate you this month!

🌞July Pet of the Month 🌞

Hi! My name is Austin I’m a 7-year-old Shih Tzu but honestly, I’m more human than dog.

I’m friendly, lovable, and always ready to make new friends both furry and two-legged!

I’m a true carnivore—kibble? No thanks. I’m all about meats, snacks, and anything that smells like it came from Mom’s plate. 🍗

Car rides? Absolutely. Wherever Mom goes, I go. And don’t get me started on our morning walks—that’s my social hour! I love seeing the neighborhood, sniffing the news, and saying hi to all my buddies.

I absolutely love cuddles, belly rubs, meaty treats, and adventures with Mom—that’s the good life. 🐶❤️🚗🌞

🌹🌸🐾 June Pet of the Month: Rosie (aka 🌹Rosebud🌹)! 🐾🌸🌹
We’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on Rosie this month—a pup with a heart full of love and a personality as bright as the June sunshine! ☀️
Rosie and her half-sister Daisy Mae joined their forever family just after the New Year in 2020, and life hasn’t been the same since! While Daisy brings the mischief, Rosie brings the snuggles. 💕 She’s the cuddler of the duo, but don’t let her sweet face fool you—Rosie’s got a mind of her own! When being taught to sit, she responded by sitting up like a circus dog 🎪🐶. She clearly shows who's running the show😆!
Queen of the backyard and master of the breeze-sniff, Rosie’s favorite things include basking in the sun, playfully teasing Daisy with her beloved Lambie toy, and, of course, being the Alpha in all the best ways. Her snack of choice? A slice of Kraft American cheese 🧀—which she patiently waits for each day after her eye drops. Now that’s dedication!
We’re beyond grateful for the love Rosie brings to her family and how much she brightens up every room (and exam room!) she walks into. 💗 Thank you to Dr. Paglia and our amazing Eye Care for Animals team for keeping our sweet girl happy, healthy, and always ready for her next cheesy reward.

🐾 Meet Sweetie, April's Pet of the Month! 🐾

This Springer Spaniel is full of energy, fun, and... a lot of toys! 😆 Sweetie's #1 favorite thing in the world? Playing fetch! But don't let that fool you—she's not easily bribed by food, though she definitely enjoys a good snack. 🍖

Sweetie has a collection of indoor and outdoor toys, and they all have one thing in common: they MUST be made of tough, hard nylon! 😜 She's a toy destroyer—soft toys just don't stand a chance. Her unique talent? She can cram TWO (sometimes THREE) toys in her mouth at once! 🤪 Who says you can’t have it all?

When she’s not fetching, Sweetie loves playing chase and wrestling with her big “brother,” Leo 🐶. Other hobbies include bird-watching 🦅, squirrel-chasing 🐿️, going on walks 🚶‍♀️, and snuggling up on the couch for a nap (because even the toughest toy warriors need rest, right?) 😴💕

🐾 Meet Percy, our March Pet of the Month at Eye Care for Animals! 🐾

This fluffy legend is definitely large and in charge! 😹 Percy isn’t your average cat—he’s got a serious game of fetch down with his favorite worm toy, and he's been playing with it since the day his family adopted him. Talk about a classic! 🐍

When he’s not busy showing off his fetching skills, you can find Percy doing what he does best: cuddling. He’s a professional snuggler, always ready to curl up with his family for some quality time. 💕

And let’s not forget—Percy NEVER misses a meal or snack time. 🍗🍖 He’s got his eye on the prize and keeps his snack game strong! But don’t worry, he’s also a total softie who LOVES his brothers and sisters—even the dogs! 🐶❤️

So here’s to Percy—the king of fetch, cuddles, snacks, and love! 👑🐾
