As mentioned previously, we really think Bea’s litter had 2 fathers. Mr. Aqua, Ms. Lavender and their sister Ms Platinum (already adopted, now Daizy!) all have a silvery grey coat with a darker face color.
They are gorgeous, and dare I say a little regal.

Austin Pets Alive is offering $23 adoption fees through August, a huge savings from the $250 current fee for these babies. Includes all shots, microchips, spay/neuter.

We have 5 pups out of 10 left and they are just beautiful. 4 months old, German Shepard mix, current weights between 22 and 32 pounds. Search for them on the APA! website under their names and please forward to anyone that is looking for a new friend.

6 puppies left in da house!

A family that had a meet and greet for Olaff scheduled for Saturday was kind enough to meet us at the puppy yoga event instead when our plans changed.

After observing all of the puppies interacting with each other and with them, and really watching their different personalities, they decided that Mr. Blue was the one for them.

I had been hope hope hoping all week that one of our pups would join their family. They’ve had big dogs, they adventure hike, they have a 9 year old son desperately wanting a puppy, and they are extremely nice. It is perfect!

Austin Pets Alive fast tracked the paperwork and off they went! We could not be happier for our boy.

Now for something new and different!

We had the opportunity to take part in a puppy yoga event at Inner Diva yoga studio on Saturday. Puppy yoga, you ask? With this crew? Exactly.

I had initially told the Austin Pets Alive event coordinator that I just didn’t know if we had the right kind of puppy litter - specifically that they’re huge pups and surely that can’t be a relaxing addition to the class.

She convinced us that it would be amazingly fun chaos - and she was right! The pups did just fantastic! And we sparked a lot of adoption interest, some of which I will post separately.

Completely worth the bathing, prepping, loading, unloading and handling of 7 furfosters in this heat 🔥

And the smallest of the bunch - yet no wallflower- is Ms. Green 💚. Feisty AF at 20 pounds! Let it be known that she can...

Feisty AF at 20 pounds! Let it be known that she can take care of herself - but is so loving and cuddly when she has one-on-one attention. She’s a gem and she’s perfect.

Hello! We are the Snout Count Squad, helping little furball souls where we can. We needed to establish a better platform to get the word out about stray dog captures and fosters we have ready for adoption on behalf of the major rescue organizations. So here we are. Please feel free to ask questions, repost, tag others, and anything else that will help these babies find homes.

Animal rescuers are as passionately imbedded in the fabric of society as much as the animal abusers that create unfathomable harm. SCS a small part of the process, but together we will win - one woof at a time.

As they say, you can't save them all - but for the ones that you can, it is everything.
