"Stray Afraid Of People Works Up The Courage To Ask 1 Man To Take His Pain Away

Strays are forced to deal with potentially fatal medical issues on their own. Animal rescuers go to great lengths to help. When they heard about him, they worked hard to find a homeless dog with a big tumor. It was tough, but they were ultimately contacted and informed that he was passing through a nearby pagoda.

When they arrived, they were astounded by the magnitude of the mass on his shoulder. The dog was in great pain, and he continued wiping it away. The rescuers were saddened to learn that he had been struggling alone for so long. They had to bring him to a vet as quickly as possible.

He was brought to Emergency Vet Partner after being diagnosed with a tennis ball-sized tumor. The veterinarian was taken aback by the dog’s survival. The doctor and his crew were assaulted with an unpleasant stench emanating from the tumor and surrounding tissues as they approached closer. It was covered in pus and blood. He needed surgery right now!

It seemed as if I was staring at a different dog after the tumor was removed. He still needed IV antibiotics and pain medicine all the time. When he recovered, the rescue organization began seeking for medical foster homes to care for him.

The stray dog that had been abandoned on the side of the road miraculously recovered and was ready to go to his new home ahead of time. His medical foster mother simply adores him. She makes certain he attends all of his veterinarian appointments and takes all of his medications. He’s still on pain medication, but he’s making great strides.

She couldn't help herself 😂
Lolli arrived at Clermont County Animal Shelter back in October and has been searching for her forever home ever since. When she first arrived at the shelter, the 2-year-old pup was a little timid, but it might have been because she’s deaf, so she experiences the world a little differently.

“We don’t know a lot about her backstory, and it’s taken time for us to learn about her true personality,” Hannah Moore, Lolli’s foster mom and a shelter employee, told The Dodo.
Through playgroups at the shelter, Lolli learned to let her goofy, spunky personality shine through. She began to let her friends at the shelter see her for who she truly is and the things she loves —including being in the water.

“Usually when she sees water, she tries to pull you over there to get into it,” Moore said.

Lolli absolutely loves going swimming, and no amount of water is too small for her to try and splash around in.

Recently, Lolli was at an adoption event hoping to finally find her forever family. She usually loves these events and knows how to turn on the charm.

“She loves attention, being around people, and is in her element when she’s the center of attention,” Moore said.
At this particular event, though, Lolli was a little distracted — all because the venue had a fountain.

Lolli spent the majority of the event trying to pull her foster mom over to the fountain so she could take a dip. Finally, Lolli was given permission to go for it, and that’s exactly what she did.

The sweet dog truly could not have been happier splashing around in the fountain. She was supposed to be showing off and trying to get adopted, but playing in the fountain was her way of showcasing her goofy personality.
Unfortunately, despite making a big splash at the adoption even, Lolli is still in search of a family to call her own.

Lolli would do best in a home with a yard and some kind of pool, even if it’s just a kiddie pool. She wants a loving family who will splash around with her from time to time, and other than that, she just wants love. She may be deaf, but it doesn’t affect the way she lives at all. She’s a happy-go-lucky dog who loves water — all she needs now is a home.

“Months ago, on Christmas Eve, I was scrolling through Facebook when I saw a post about two abandoned dogs. The gentleman who found the dogs (and who we later named Lainey and Frankie) was begging for help.

He had found them in a ditch down the road from his house and had no idea what to do with them. Despite our plans to travel over the New Year, we knew we had to help these dogs. We proceeded to bring them home and hold our breath for the next 36 hours until our vet opened—we were afraid Lainey would succumb to her infections.

She looked like an alien creature. She stunk, she couldn’t see, and she bled all over our couch.

To our delight, Lainey not only survived, but thrived in our home. With the help of frequent vet visits, antibiotics, ivermectin, and twice-weekly medicated baths, her infections began to clear.

Her hair grew back, and her spirit was revived. We then learned who the real Lainey was: a funny, loving girl who had never had the chance to be a puppy. It was finally her time to enjoy life as a real dog! And that is exactly what she did and continues to do.

Four months flew by and before we knew it, our once stinky, swollen foster dog was ready to find her forever family. The timing couldn’t have been more serendipitous as a good friend of ours, Kelly, was looking for a companion.

We were ecstatic to find out she was interested in Lainey and had been following our pictures and posts about her progress. After sending additional details, pictures, and videos, Kelly and her husband, Larry, were smitten and we began arranging her adoption.

Lainey, now Luna, lives the spoiled life in Georgia with her parents and three cat siblings. We could not have asked for a better life for her.

We’d also like to take the time to say thank you to Brown Dog Coalition out of Hopkinton, MA. They answered our Christmas Eve call for help and paid for all of her veterinary care.
They rescue countless dogs and cats from southern states each year, many with major medical needs, and never spare any cost. They are an incredible group of people who we are extremely grateful to know and work alongside with.”

The timeless bond between humans and dogs has been cherished since our ancestors first tamed wolves to become loyal companions and protectors. Even if you’re not a dog enthusiast, it’s undeniable that these creatures deserve our love, compassion, and care.

Sadly, there are instances where dogs are left to face unimaginable hardships, leading to heartbreaking outcomes. However, amidst the tales of despair, there are stories that restore our faith in humanity. This is one such story—a narrative that ended on a positive note and warmed the hearts of everyone involved.

In a tranquil suburban neighborhood, a tale of resilience, compassion, and second chances unfolded. A man was out for a walk on a crisp winter day when he stumbled upon an unexpected sight—an abandoned box sitting in the middle of an empty lot. Curiosity got the better of him, and he decided to investigate the box’s contents.

Little did he know that this simple act of curiosity would lead to the rescue of two lives. Inside the box were several helpless three-week-old puppies, left to fend for themselves in the harsh cold. They were not only freezing but also dehydrated, making their survival prospects grim.

Remarkably, their efforts paid off, and the puppies started to show signs of improvement. They were estimated to be only three weeks old at the time of their rescue.

However, their journey to recovery was far from over. One employee from the shelter took them home for the night to provide any necessary emergency care. The next morning, the staff was amazed to find that the puppies had rallied back to life. Their resilience was evident as they playfully searched for food and demonstrated their remarkable will to survive.

Currently, these puppies are under the shelter’s care, where they will remain until they reach eight weeks of age. At that point, they will be ready to find their forever homes with loving families who will provide them with the care, attention, and affection they deserve.

This heartwarming story is a testament to the power of compassion and the impact of taking immediate action to save lives. It also highlights the incredible resilience of these puppies and their unwavering spirit to overcome adversity.
