Join our Greater Good Charities team as we travel to Austin, TX to perform a High Quality, High Volume, Spay-Neuter clinic. We need your help to support our traveling medical staff and volunteers. If you are a veterinarian or veterinary technician and want to join our traveling team, complete our volunteer application here to get started.
Greater Good Charities has been working to address the issue of cat and dog overpopulation across the U.S. including the Hawaiian Islands, Vieques, Puerto Rico, and tribal communities in Alaska and Oklahoma. Our highly skilled teams, along with the help of trapping teams, local partners, medical and local volunteers like you, have sterilized more than 65,000 cats and dogs for free, to help fight pet overpopulation in these underserved communities.
The event will be held at the COTA F1 Racetrack, 9201 Circuit of the Americas Blvd, Del Valle, TX 78617 from July 28th - August 1st. Each day will have three shifts, but you are welcome to sign up for multiple shifts or stay all day. If you are unable to stay for an entire shift but still want to sign up, please just add a comment so we know what time(s) you will be volunteering.
Orientation will be the day before the clinic begins Sunday July 27th at 2 p.m and it will be held at the same location as the clinic. Although it is not required, we highly recommend coming. Before the clinic begins, you will learn what tasks you will be assigned and how to do them. We can certainly teach you during the clinic, but it is best to be prepared if you have not attended one of our past clinics.
Volunteers MUST BE 18 or older.
We need all volunteers to complete our waiver. You will be asked to complete a waiver in person when you arrive for your first volunteer shift. When you arrive, find the volunteer table to get checked in and complete a waiver.
