❤️In loving memory of Audrey ❤️

For 27 days she felt love.

For 27 days human hands no longer hurt her. Instead they comforted her.

For 27 days human eyes no longer looked past her and ignored her, instead they adored her.

For 27 days, human legs no longer walked past her on the porch where she spent her life chained and starving, instead they were a place to lay her head while she snuggled on the couch.

For 27 days she wasn’t hungry or cold or scared.

For 27 days she had her own 6 year old boy to sleep with and lick the face of as he giggled with delight.

For 27 days her body held on long enough to experience what she should have always had.

We wish it could have been so so much longer sweet Audrey.

Please pray for Audrey’s hospice family especially sweet Tucker as they grieve her loss.

He wanted her to have a happy meal before she went to see Jesus. So that’s exactly what she got.

She’s no longer suffering and Tucker definitely has a new guardian angel ❤️

We love you Audrey, until we see you again 🫶

Big red is at the vet for his proheart shot. Heartworm prevention is so important!! This old man weighs in at 89lbs. He is a senior so he’s past the crazy play stage and he really just wants to lay around and be loved. He likes car rides and is an all around good dog 😊

He is looking for his forever home!

***IMMEDIATE NEED, NEWPORT, AR***
Is anyone new Newport, AR that could go immediately and help a stranded pet transport company unload/reload their dogs from their broken down RV to a new vehicle that’s coming to them? It’s never good to have dogs on transport longer than necessary and they could use the help. Let’s show them some southern hospitality and lend a hand. Please send this to anyone who is nearby and able to help! They should have their new vehicle ready to transport them to in 45 mins.

Yall say a prayer for Audrey ❤️ She isn’t doing well tonight and working hard to breathe. Her foster family is spending precious time with her. I just wish we had been able to find her and help her sooner 😮‍💨.

Please pray for her foster family as well. The emotional toll that hospice fostering puts on a family is significant and we can never thank them enough ❤️

George is feeling so much better after having pancreatitis. He’s out of the woods and ready to find his forever home! He’s dog friendly and loves to hang out on the couch and snuggle!

Unfortunately we didn’t have a good enough turn out to make kickball happen. We may try that again in the spring.

Thankfully we have added 2 additional events we have added! Come see us Friday the 24th from 5-9 pm at the railyard in Cabot at the Night Owls Vendor Market and bring the kiddos for some trunk or treat yummies Tuesday the 28th at Pizza Hut in Cabot from 5-7!

Pollo is dog friendly and has great manners. He’s approximately 2 years old and looking for his forever family. We hope they see this post and take him home 🥹

***HOSPICE FOSTER UPDATE: Mimi***

Mimi’s foster mom noticed a wound under her arm this morning. We got her into the vet. The diagnosis is cancer. We have already known she had kidney disease and her days were numbered. She’s doing amazingly well with all the issues she has and this wound will also be treated. We will not do anything additional to treat the cancer as it would put too much stress on her kidneys and her trachea is also severely narrowed which would make sedation dangerous. So, we treat the symptoms, make sure she still has quality of life (which she does) and spoil her rotten while she’s still here with us ❤️

Huge thank you to her foster mom for being incredibly diligent and taking such good care of her and thank you to our vet team at Timber Trails Animal Hospital for getting Mimi in quickly 🫶. It takes a village!

***Adoption announcement: HARRIET***

This momma dog who was thrown from the vehicle with her 5 puppies, hungry, and infected with mange, is officially adopted 🫶. She still has heart worm treatment ahead of her but she’s home sweet home and we couldn’t be happier for her!! 🥹🥹

She’ll never know the pain of being discarded ever again!

Harriet’s daughter Hannah is still looking for her forever family ❤️
