Dog displays sociability with all handlers and with male and female dogs observed with by engaging in play behavior with a loose body and a wagging tail. He is most interested to sniff yard independently and receive affection from handlers. He mouths/cobs hands, seemingly seeking attention with a loose body and a wagging tail.

Sweet family helps Greta!!

This is the second year in a row that a sweet man named John (last name withheld for privacy) calls me and says his family chooses to donate to an animal rescue charity instead of giving gifts to each other. Well, after Carter (street dog rescue gone bad 🤦‍♀️) drained every dollar we had from our bank account, I didn’t know when Greta was going to be able to see a vet again. I’m ecstatic to announce (thanks to the generosity of this very caring, animal loving family) that Greta is finally Heart worm NEGATIVE!!! We’ve been doing slow kill for 3 years!! I’m so grateful she is finally healthy. Thanks to the “John” family and hopes that other families learn how good it feels to do something like that for Christmas. 😇😇😇 We rescued Greta 5+ yearats ago. Was in foster for over a year before (literally) being dumped on me with hardly any notice. I was told her new boyfriend said she had to go and was going to take to shelter!!! I said “like hell you are!! She’s not yours!!” She is really feral and will not walk out the door! She only lets me touch her when I’m sitting and she’s been here for 4 years!! So she has to be heavily sedated for vet to do anything. 🤦‍♀️ #HollysHopeRescue #DonorsMakeTheDifference #AdoptDontShop

Please say a prayer for our newest street dog rescue. He’s at the vet now. From foster: “The vet came in and we were able to put a leash on him. Poor baby is very scared and not trusting of anyone. They are going to sedate him and then do everything they need to do.” Please say a prayer for sweet Carter.
