Here is something I found interesting for you all new Doberman owners.

The military stopped using Dobermans after WWII because they are so loyal and do not tolerate changing handlers well.

Give your Doberman time to bond with you and you will never have a better dog than a Doberman.
Rule of thumb is 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to become familiar with your routine, 3 months to really settle in. May take longer depending on age of Doberman when you acquired him or her. It varies from dog to dog, but dobes are very emotionally sensitive and in tune. He or she is mourning their lost home he or she knew before you took him or her, especially if they are older than three months old. He or she also sees and feels your frustrations with them and more. Time and patience is a big thing with them. Time and patience!!! You will get there with your dobe!

What makes this pup (Tan Collar) stand out from other breeder's pups?

He has been exposed to different sounds and scents, like mowers, ATV, adult dogs barking diesel pickup, and new people talking to him. He is a dominant , highly trainable pup. Has a degree of accepting dominance while in a position of no control with humans. He is sensitive to certain commands and will be easy to train. Outgoing and adjusts to situations in which he receives regular training and exercise. He has a flexible temperament if he is handled correctly.

What makes this pup (White Collar) stand out from other breeder's pups?

She was whelped in our home and from a newborn pup till leaving the whelping box, she was exposed to dog scents, grass smell, and household noise and smells. This is in hopes to desensitized her at a young age. She has since leaving the whelping box been introduced to adult dogs. She has been exposed to different sounds and scents, like mowers, ATV, adult dogs barking, diesel pickup, and new people talking and petting her . She is a non dominant, highly trainable pup. Has a degree of accepting dominance while in a position of no control such as racking her ears. She is sensitive to certain commands and will be easy to train. Outgoing and adjusts to situations in which she receives regular training and exercise. She has a flexible temperament if she is handled correctly.
