Meet Eugene. He is our 11 year old Mini Silkie boy. He was born blind in one eye and no reason why. When we got him they weren't sure he would make it. But we took him as a companion for his stable brother.

He is the sweetest boy and 11 still going strong.

Unfortunately with the cold weather not all mom's could handle the baby needs. We have 3 house guests all snuggled up for the night.

It's that time of year, "LAMBING SEASON." Jay found this little girl stuck behind a gate today. Not sure what time birthing took place or how long she was there. Mom had a set of twins. We don't know if she pushed this one off or just gave birth in a weird place.

Anyway, we couldn't get mom to allow her to eat. She was getting cold, too. We took her into the house and began life-saving measures.

After three hours, warming baths, a little sugar, milk, colostrum, and a little nudging from our ferocious German Shepherd Dogs, she is up and doing well.

Lacey has taken the lead in being her protector.
