So in addition to everything else that’s going on with Miss Georgia May, she now has sunburn on her shoulder 🤦🏼‍♀️. Y’all with lighter color horses, what do y’all use as sunscreen? I use Destin on their noses but looking for a spray for her body. Fly sheet isn’t an option in this humidity cause the humidity is what’s causing her other skin issues. I ordered some sunscreen but just want to see what everyone else likes.

*Being inside during the day isn’t an option either. She does not like it.

In the last two weeks I’ve made three phone calls to the vet, they have came out twice with one of those times being an emergency visit on Sunday. This is what I’m about to do to Georgia. 🤦🏼‍♀️

1. Cash, debit, credit card, check, and Venmo are all accepted 💳

2. Payment is due at time of service 💵

3. Cancelations within 24 hours of confirmed appointment are subject to a 50% charge of the agreed upon rate. This must be paid before you can be rescheduled 📆

4. You or someone that is familiar and knowledgeable about your horse must be present for the appointment 🤠

6. Bladder Meridian services can be scheduled separate or at the same time as cleaning 🌻

I have a client looking to move from western NC to more central NC. She’s thinking Raleigh, Durham, Fayetteville, Southern Pines area or any outskirts of these areas. Anyone that chooses to work as an Equine Professional, or horse owners in general, we have to be somewhat crazy. I mean who in their right mind chooses to be outside in this weather? It’s 900 degrees with 500% humidity today. I think I can literally ring out my shirt. And then in the winter time we are bundled up to where we can barely move, walking around with a hammer breaking up ice in the water troughs. But we do it for the unconditional and unexplainable love we have for our equine companions. And I know not a one of us would trade it for the world. 🐴🩷
