If your dog likes structure or human attention over other dogs, I am the boarding kennel for you! I offer a very unique boarding style here at JK9 where I specialize in solo let outs opposed to a group play type of atmosphere. Crate and rotate is my lifestyle with my personal dogs and I am well versed in dogs that may have special behavioral or health related needs. This is a great boarding style

for dogs that thrive on structure and routine, that may not like other dogs, or just prefer that human connection with their sitters. My personal dogs will not interact with any of my client dogs, but each dog here gets put on a rotation schedule so everyone is guarantee to have the same amount of time doing something that they love. Whether that's sleeping the day away in my office as I work, following me around the house as I check off things on my to do list, playing fetch in the back yard, or watching TV I try to make their lives as normal as possible. I also offer a variety of add on services like a simple groom, a PEMF therapy session, or a walk at the park for an additional fee. I am also a licensed retailer and I carry a very small inventory of products that my clients are welcome to purchase while they are here. Your dogs will get to partake in free samples though during their stay and will all get to take home some treats or a toy and whatever promotional item I have at the time. I also bring 15 years of experience to the table in training and competing in various dog sports with my own personal dogs. I currently own 3 Belgian Malinois, an American Pitbull Terrier, and a Border Collie. My rainbow bridge dogs are a Boxer and a German Shepherd that I miss dearly. All of these dogs presented me with their own challenges and opened new doors in learning animal behavior and applying techniques to accomplish a desired outcome in the task at hand. My dogs have trained or competed in a variety of things, including mondioring, AKC obedience, scent work, rally, flyball, K9 frisbee, dock diving, and weight pull. I am also an active W3PO weight pull judge and while I have some older dogs that are semi-retired, I have some young dogs that are taking over as they progress. This experience allows me to help apply my knowledge, which is always evolving, to your dog during their stay. While I am a balanced trainer, I will never apply a technique that you the owner are not comfortable with or that the dog does not understand. However, if your dog is trained a particular way if I am comfortable using the tools that your trainer has recommended or anything you would like me to reinforce during their stay I will absolutely do so. I do work with several dog trainers in the area regularly and they are considered to be close friends if anyone is every looking for a good dog training in the area. Your displeasure of my driveway has been heard! It also drives me crazy too dealing with all that mud. My husband has 2 loads of gravel brought in to help remedy the situation. It may still be bumpy and uneven though as it gets packed down so please continue to be careful.

I will be unavailable through Sunday to attend westminster in NYC with my flyball team. While my dogs aren't racing yet, I'll be there to lend a hand as my team races and to play tourist around the city for a long weekend. Wish my team, manic menagerie, luck as they race at the big event this weekend!

NYC here I come! My husband is holding down the fort for me while I'm away and I can't thank him enough for that. This will be a fun weekend and it's very much needed. Flyball is on Saturday at westminister! I'll answer messages as I can, but shoot me a text for the quickest response.

I almost always let the dogs pick their own toys out from the toy stash and Ahsoka picked this one. Needless to say she thinks it's pretty great and she's been randomly carrying it around the house for days now.

Ahsoka got to enjoy the birds again today and judge me while I scooped p**p haha. We also played around the house and stayed warm inside. She's not a fan of the mud, wet ground, or the cold.

After much thought, I have decided going forward my regular job will be remote only so that I can dedicate more time with my personal dogs like I did in prior years as well as your dogs. I plan to be quite particular about my job going forward to help preserve the ability of a very important work life balance that allows me to continue doing the things that I love. This means I will now be available during the day anytime!

I have removed my BBB accreditation due to the high monthly cost to be listed on their website. In an effort to cut costs, I decided it was too expensive for the benefits it provided. So if you see I'm no longer listed, that's the only reason why.

Fu and V***n feel very differently about the mud than Ahsoka. V***n absolutely LOVES it. Her newest favorite thing is sliding Tokyo drift style and spinning in puddles and coming back inside looking like a muddy mop. Halfway through this video watch for their wipe out haha. This is also one of the many reasons why my guys don't get 24/7 play time together. My anxiety cannot handle it 🤦‍♀️

Ahsoka wasn't a fan of the mud, but it was such a nice day outside today so we sat on the porch watching the birds for quite awhile. She also picked out a toy this morning, which she randomly insists on carrying around with her.
