And on the third day she remember how to ride her horse!! Finally pulled a clean run together tonight. We fell in between divisions but it was clean 🤍 blessed every time I get to take this horse down the alley.
Well another night of bad luck 🤦🏻♀️ praying for better luck today 🤍
Well money man showed up tonight but apparently his jockey was somewhere else! He did his absolute best I just quit riding before my second and I’m riding like a fish out of water🤦🏻♀️ definitely have a lot to work on tomorrow!
Needless to say money man does NOT like his fly boots🤣🤣 but we got a great workout in right before we leave all weekend to barrel race!
This guy is still for sale!! Message me for information!
We finally have a lope BOTH directions!!!! Once we get this down we will start cruising some barrels. Anyone in the market for a pony keep your eye out for Buddy! We will be posting him here soon.
*we do not own rights to music*
Miss candy is coming along so nicely! From bronc to trotting some circles in a couple rides! Going to be putting her to the test Sunday at mine and Caleb Winings contesting clinic!
We had some help in the barn today! Great weather and some sweaty ponies after!
I had a horse leave early so I have 1 spot open in the barn for training!
We had some fun last night but she calmed down after and worked just fine. Gotta love fresh 5 year olds🤍
Tonight we learned that the tarp isn’t that scary! Candy did great! So did King but I forgot to get a video of his go at it!
Next guy to introduce!
King👑
King is in our program for 30-60 days just getting finished out as well. He’s a beautiful 5 year old. We have some attitude adjustments that need made but he’s eager to work. Excited as well for this guy!
Everyone say hello to Candy!
Candy is a 5 year old mare with some cool bloodlines! She is in the barn for 30 days to get finished out. She’s so loving and sweet and I’m super excited to see how she ends up! Follow along for her progress!
First run Friday was rough but we finally pulled together and worked as a team and ran our fastest time in 2 years! So thankful for this guy🤍 #lenaintothemoney
Yesterday was teeth day Quarter Mill Ranch we have to keep our guys in the best condition and that means teeth. I have a lot of horses who come into my barn that have attitude issues, rearing, bucking, or just throwing tantrums and people are amazed that teeth, chiro, and just basic stretches will help tremendously. Usually people do the bare minimum and that just feet. But you have to realize if you’re putting a bit in this horses mouth every day, bouncing around all over its back, they’re going to get sore. Do your partner a favor and do some up keep! We are getting all prepped for barrel racing to begin next weekend!
I’m in Texas right now but miss Reanna had a MYRA rodeo today and got her a PR!! I’m so proud of how far Geo and her have came in just a short amount of time! Good job guys!!
Yes I know this is not pretty at all but we went into the arena without any rearing and finished a pattern with no rearing. In my books that run was a win! I’m so proud of this horse!
Yes I know we have some head issues to work on but besides that I’m so proud of Geo. He’s been working so well for me! With the weather his owner sadly couldn’t go to their rodeo this weekend but next weekend he will hopefully make an appearance at a barrel race with me!
Say hello to my new client horse!
Geo is an ex jumper turned rodeo horse! His owner is currently doing MYRA on him and plans to continue barrel racing and pole bending. He is in our barn to fix his first barrel as he likes to rear up coming out of his turn.
So tonight I worked on bending our body and just holding up our weight around a barrel.
This little mare let me tell you guys! When I first got her she knew a whole lot of nothing. Would run you over while walking, didn’t know how to lung, switch directions while lunging, or how to even lope a circle. She has came leaps and bounds in just these couple months that I’ve owned her. Her training isn’t finished but she will be heading to a new barn next weekend. I’m so blessed to be able to sell my first horse through this business! Mandi Jo I hope she continues to excel with you!
We love a good farrier day! Can’t thank Bar L Equine Services enough for keeping all the ponies feet looking amazing! Miss Amarillo also got her feet trimmed and she wasn’t the best at standing or allowing her back feet to be picked up but she’s learning and Logan was so patient with her!
