Even tho we are experiencing very private difficulties .
The farm is up and running with no changes ,. We are a farm care and maintenance continues regardless!
Our lessons and classes are open as scheduled , unless other wise stated or if you are personally notified !
Thank you for all your thoughts, prayers and understanding!

Good Sunday everyone.
We want to remind everyone that it is important to give us proper notice of 24 hours if canceling a lesson.
Unless it's a spontaneous emergency. You need to be responsible and plan accordingly.

Our dedicated volunteer staff needs to be respected . 100% of our proceeds are for the horses and thier needs , and supplies we need for education of our clients- not paychecks .
All Our staff have families , and jobs beyond our precious farm .
They don't want to be waiting in undesirable weather, just to be canceled last min.
They don't want to be bringing in and preparing horses, to only have to pack it back up put them back on turn out
Nor is it fair to the animal .
They don't want to make a drive for a no show. When they can be either spending it with family , relaxing or working.
Maintaining the farm takes long hard work even when Noone else wants to be out or thier are scheduled events classes or lessons.

It also creates gaps to where another client would of like that spot but had to make a choice of a less Convenient one ,only for it to end up with no lesson entirely for either .because of not enough notice .
We ask that the 24 hour rule is respected, Other then stated

We don't want to start asking for pre -payments and charge no show fees, membership fees with rules make up times etc.
We'd like to continue to make this affordable and convenient for everyone possible.
We do also understand that many of our clients that are not self pay have circumstances that arrive and can't be helped
Such as they have no staff, or then may be experiencing a bad Day.

Thank you for your understanding -

Good evening everyone we hope everyone is safe during this storm.!
We wanted to announce that we have been asked to rehome a new baby to our farm .
We've been in discussions for few weeks now . Today we had the privilege of meeting him.
We will indeed be adding him to our herd.
We feel we can definitely help him with some TLC, that is needed ! Once he is feeling better and has decompressed he will make a great addition at program . We have some riders in mind that might very well be a great match for this boy.
So welcome this sweet loveable boy !
He is a 15.3 Hand palomino quarter horse gelding 13 yrs of age approx.
Once he arrives ( on a safer traveling day ) , we will up date information!

Good evening everyone .
First we want to Thank everyone who reached out to us about the horse situation in chenango county.
We have reached out to the SPCA and offered assistance if need .
Also ,
We are preparing for our winter break peeps to be returning shortly in just 8 short weeks or less , and we are asking that if you are planning to attend lessons / classes that you shoot us a message with desired days and times .
So we can get everyone squeezed back in around our year round attending consumers.
Thank you so much for your cooperation !

Good evening everyone.
This week will pose us a challenge with our below zero Temps and very bad wind chill factors
The Team has been working hard to make sure there's dry clean bedding in all stalls if needed . heated water buckets for the animals stalled , dry straw for the smaller animals to bed in .
Our arena will be used as a feeding station, as we set up round Bales inside of it for the horses . This is to break the wind shear - but still give them the ability to access as Much heated water as they need in troughs and freely walk about and huddle together
This type of weather we have to prepare for and make sure we keep our animals safe and as warm and fed and Hydrated as we can
We ask that you pay attention to posted news about lessons. As things can change .
Stay warm everyone!

Remember liVe stock care requires care in every weather situation !
Wish all us farmers best wishes to survive this type of weather!

Birdie has made her self comfortable. This filly is an amazing sweet girl. She is settling in nicely !
